Loving this pattern! So excited to be making my 3rd crochet blanket with you!

Kristi Calcagno

I usually crochet tight so I was surprised that my tension sample came out at 17 cm using a size 4.5 hook (foundation row made with a size 5 hook). Do you recommend me going down to a size 4? I’m wondering if once I get used to the yarn and the pattern, if my stitches will tighten up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

BTW, I love everything about this and I’m enjoying it so much already! Thank you so much Lucy!!!

Carol Chamberlain, you are reading the tutorial of the trellis stripe pattern. You need to go back to the CAL part 1 on the main blog homepage for the colours list. Hope that helps. Claire x

Vacuuming, dusting, floor mopping, - postponed. I am starting my long-awaited Sweet Pea blanket right now!!!!

Hi Lucy. This is my first CAL & I'm loving the colours! I have chosen the Posy colourway :) I have just finished the DC row and I think I've made my foundation chain too long :( I'm just counting them up now to make sure! Is there a way of unpicking the extra chain stitches rather than frogging the whole row to start again? Thank you! :)

I have done the first three colours of the posy colourway but I can’t find the list of the next colours, I just keep getting the same page but no list of colours which I know I have seen, where has it gone😩😩😩

Thank you for this great tutorial Lucy x its looks so lovely in the Sweet Pea colours. I just love how simple this pattern is yet looks so detailed once a few rows are joined together. You have made many many people very happy bunnies today xxx

Afternoon Lucy,
I’m a beginner at crochet, and this is my first CAL. I did my foundation row in 4mm, and started the pattern with a 3.5mm hook.
My row 3 turned out brilliant, perfect.
My question is the length. It’s turning out at 145cm, where it should be 120cm.
Do I start again, or keep going, and watch my yarn 🧶 invade I need more.
Thank you

Thank you Lucy, you taught me to crochet 5 years ago and you are continuing to teach me new things. Thank you
