Kia ora Lucy from NZ ... the land of the long white cloud .... Aotearoa.
My question is also if you have a mixed stripe colour pattern for me to follow? I don't really want to make the squares as I have made quite a few blankets like that now but would love to try this in a striped blanket. Thanks very much : )

Janet

I’ve made the border according to the online instructions which shows 10 colours. However, according to the paper instructions, the border has 12 colours so now I don’t know whether to unpick some of the border so I can add the missing colours.

Hi Lucy, I learnt to crochet this year making your sweet pea blanket. I love your colour combinations.
I adore the aria colours. Do you have a pattern for a striped blanket using the aria colours?
Thank you
Mary-Clare

Amanda Wyles

I absolutely love these colours but making all those squares is not for me. Is it possible to use the Aria colour pack, to make the sweet pea colour wash in the neat ripple or neat wave stitches? If so would the number of rows for each colour match with the trellis stitch pattern?

Alison

Hiya please could you help a left hander on the joins - I am struggling with the front to back slip stitch as my work keeps turning - is there any harm in back to front please

Angeles

¡Hermosa Manta!
Espero animarme a hacerla. Gracias por compartir su saber. Le felicito.
Saludos cordiales

I’m loving doing the Aria blanket and am almost finished. Do you have any thought about designing other colour combinations? I’d love to do another one.

Hi Lucy! I loooove this pattern but I am having a horrible time getting the right gauge (I know this is a personal problem). I ordered the kit that has all of the recommended yarn but even with a 2.75 mm crochet hook, my square is about 12.5 cm. Do you have any particular tips for getting gauge or even recommendations on a brand crochet hook? I am an intermediate crocheter but I have literally redone square 1 10 times just changing the side of the crochet hook. I don't think my stitches look nearly as close together as yours and it's making me bananas! Thank you in advance.

I'm loving doing this. The wonderful colours make it almost addictive! I previously did the Eastern Jewels blanket and was initially worried that I might find this boring but I'm loving it.

Hi Lucy I was wondering why no 2 single crochets in the
corner when doing the join as you go method.
Thanks for the lovely pattern. This is my second of your
blankets. Jenny, Carlsbad California

I want to get this but I’m fairly new to crocheting and I’m also left handed so I’m worried it will be too difficult for me?

Mandy Long

I finished the blanket in 15 days and loved it. I did change the border slightly - did 12 rows instead of 10 and changed the colours a bit. I also went up to a 4.5mm hook for the first 11 rounds, then back to a 4mm for the last round. I decided to do just 2 trb in every other stitch, with 4 trb in each corner. I was very pleased with the result. Thanks Lucy x

Christine Battersby

Do you have a colour sequence to make the Aria blanket but with Dune colours?

Susie

Just got my yarn today and made a start, the colours are glorious! I’m a leftie so am I right in thinking I will be joining squares from right to left meaning my blanket will be a mirror image?

Alison Lessen

Enjoying my second attic24 blanket. Great colours and good instruction.....the colours are a real tonic in weird times

The join as you go method has been biting me in the rear today so I am going to do the uk double crochet join instead and still join as I go. Love your colours and its inspired me to make this in my own colours x

Susan Ross

Beautiful colours in this new Aria blanket Lucy, it brings joy to the world and that what we need at this moment.
Still working on two blankets already one is in Mexican colours and one is your Dune only with a little bit different colours because I had some short but there are so many new colours so I mixed them in it...
But this Aria is also at top of my list thank you very much for all your beautiful ideas and paterns!!!
