Your blankets are so beautiful do you have a link to a pattern download ?

Joan Allan

Your vstitch stripe is my 6th blanket and already looking atnumber 7. But,before no 7 is started i need to complete no.6 and I can't find the border instructions. Can you tell me where to find them please.

Crafty Cath

Brilliant! I'm so behind with making your lovely blankets. I want to do all of them!! This one is next!

Louise

This is just stunning! I am also super in love with vintage shiny brite xmas ornaments for the same reason. They make xmas so much more happy! You have put so much work and consideration into this amazing project. And now it's a part of the Lucy collection! Congratulations!!

I have just received my Starbright pack and can’t wait to get started. This will be my first ever crocheted blanket and I think I’ve picked the perfect one. I had absolutely no idea how much work went into designing so thanks for sharing that. It’s absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait to get started.

Such a gorgeous blanket Lucy! Just wondering if it is possible to do foundation treble crochet to start the striped blanket?

CJ

It's fantastic, really cleverly done, you honestly have the best eye for colour and putting it all together. An absolute winner. CJ xx

So beautiful Lucy - I appreciate how much effort you put into making your amazing designs available to us and the detailed instructions too. Never underestimate the amount of joy you bring to so many people. God bless you as you navigate the difficult path ahead with your Dad. I hope the love and encouragement you get in your feedback helps you through the darker days.

Patty

You are truly an artist with yarn! The blanket is amazing, like always! Then you give 2 stripe options, truly an awesome pattern and colorway. Wishing you a speedy recovery and continued strength as you care for your father.

Femke

Wow, this is absolutely stunning! Such bright and happy colours and I love the pattern you designed for the square.

Charlotte

How could you not smile when you see those glowing colours?!

I folded. I bought a pack. There are still 2 other blanket packs sitting as Not Yet Started blankets in my cupboard. Reading the comments since your last trip to Devon, seems there are a lot of folk who know that caring trip. Not a fun trip. But we persevere. As for Tilly, silly cat-mum, don't you know yet that everything we make belongs to the cat. :-) We humans barely have permission to use those things when the cat isn't on them.. Thankfully, they do let us use our blankets on occasion.

I'm loving the colours in this one Lucy! They're so bright and "look at me-ish"! Sometimes using the very bright pinks to zing with the darks is exactly the right way to go! The photo of it held up to the window is AMAZING!! Have you just invented crocheted curtains?
Good luck with rest of Blogtober:)

Beverley

Such a lovely new blanket. The colours and design are perfect. Thank you Lucy for all your hard work x

You made me smile so big today, Lucy! I was in bed last night with my eyes almost shut when I realized that my latest order of Stylecraft DK might be on my porch tomorrow in Wash, DC (thank you for featuring me years ago when I did your Cosy Stripe and got turned onto this magical yarn). I had ordered turquoise, gold, gingerbread, petrol, copper, dandelion and spice to make a stripey something or other and decided I would rise and pick a blanket to make from your collection of treasured patterns. I opened the iPad bright & early, and what what did to my wandering eyes appear? (I had to put that in there!) And WHOA! Your Star Bright blanket instantly filled my screen and my heart. My eyes lit up like my grandbabies at Christmas! I could see myself making all these sweet little grannies as the days grow shorter and my sleeves get longer, and instantly, I made another order from Wool Warehouse. I LITERALLY could not resist longer than I got to the end of the blog post. And my other order hasn’t even arrived yet! Hee, hee! Thank you for making my whole month of October. Much love always. XOXOX

Wonderful colours
Very hard work
Well done Lucy
It’s 6.30 pm where is the pattern for the squares pls xx

Kara

This is spectacular. I love all your blankets, but this really is something special. I love the way you made the cool blues both set off and reign in the hot shades. Well done!

Mary Ann

Dear Lucy,
I have always loved to see you have that "TA DA" moment when you share a new blanket, but I must say your color decisions in this new one are AMAZING! PERFECT! You are an artist when you express your understanding and talent with color. And we, your blog readers are so fortunate that you share with us. Thank you so much!
Sending best wishes,
Mary Ann from NJ USA

Another stunning blanket Lucy! The colours are lovely and bright and remind me of Christmases past too. And what an awful amount of time and effort you put into creating your patterns, I am in awe! I am sorry to hear your dad is suffering with dementia, a cruel and heartless time for you and the family. I have ordered my pack and can't wait to get started on my first Attic 24 blanket, although I have followed you and your blanket journey for years. I too have an ailing father and was in need of cheering up, and the Starbright came along at the right moment. ❤🎉

Jackie

Oh I love it. Once again you have excelled. I can't think of any other designers who release a new free pattern then offer 2 other versions all fron the same amount of yarn so that there is something for everyone. Thank you so much.

Thank you Lucy! Another stunning creation of yours. I can see the process of creativity you have been through and the result is awesome and inspiring. I have just completed the Harbour blanket which was another of your stunning designs and am very tempted to do this one as I have never worked with squares. I truly love how the name of the blanket fits exactly to your design. Congratulations!

Linda

Having seen the joyous colours I’m tempted to do another Yuletide using these colours. I’ve got a few days to decide whilst waiting for my pack to come.
Love the colours but am not sure I’ve got the time for squares. I crochet to relax and I don’t get that with the squares.
Perhaps a large square starting with the square from this pattern and then continuing with the v stitch right to the final edge…..!
Possibilities!

Pat McConnell

I am in absolute awe of your talent!!!!!! What a gorgeous explosion of festive colour …. And such great information about the number of rows - wish I’d thought of that when I started my temperature blanket in January!!!🤣🤣 I will put the Starbright pack on my Christmas list for a new project in 2024. Thank you for your continued inspiration. ❤️💙💜🧡🧡💚
