It's refreshing to hear the realness behind the blogging process, highlighting the energy and concentration required to craft meaningful posts and the importance of finding your own creative space.

I'm glad you like to talk to us about whatever comes to your mind. I love reading your blog. Like Annie who commented right above me, I live in Idaho. I had the privilege to visit England 18 years ago and reading your blog fills my head with images of that trip. My oldest grandson was 3 months old at the time and he's now 18. England is delightful and so full of history. I'm so glad I was able to visit.

Lovely to read this post early in the morning with a quiet cup of coffee. I think we all need to be reminded to seek out our own small pleasures as these are things that gives us joy every day. Thank you.

I’ve found that by rearranging my bedroom to put in a small work table where I can leave work out really helpful to me. I also live in a busy house where I share every space. There is no such thing as a ‘bedroom’ in our house, every room is full of projects of some kind, but it’s never boring. Love your posts and Skipton is beautiful, a lovely place to live.

Hi Lucy, so lovely to hear from you, it always makes me happy, specially when life is a bit hard.
I am happy to see that you are doing well and finding your space :-)

Nieree

The adorable mug on that adorable little table. Such comfort from this corner!

Debbi Robertson

You and your posts are such bright spots in my day! Thank you, as always, for writing!

Good to hear the happy vibe back in your blog voice, and to see more of your uplifting photos. Skipton really does look to be the most idyllic little town. I hope you and J get pain au chocolate, too!

Linda from Boston

Yes, peace and quiet. I remember that. Since my husband has retired, life as I knew it is over!!! Always under foot. Oh well. Keep smiling. Wish I could join you for one of your walks and coffee. It looks beautiful.

I’m so pleased you’re blogging again on a regular(ish) basis. I love reading about your walks, jaunts, blankets, and just your life in general.
Thank you Lucy. Xxx

I totally get what you mean about working in the busiest room in the house. I work from the dining table in the living/dining room and it's really hard. Especially as I have to clear away for every meal. I often end up working evenings, weekends and bank holidays, partly because of the interruptions. I love that you have a little space of your own upstairs. CJ xx

I always do a mental Happy Dance when I see there is a new blog post from you!
You have given me a great idea, getting a desk for my bedroom! I’ve wanted a table where I could sit and do writing or paperwork, for ages, but never found the space for it.. I just need to find one the right size to fit in the gap!

Katherine Brown

Lucy, Thank you so very much for your blog. They brighten my day when I read them, as do your patterns/blankets. I too work from home and like my peace and quiet. When my husband pops in, like today, and disrupts my day, I seek a room away from the noise. I hope you know that you touch so many lives with your blogs and blankets. It is truly amazing. Love the pictures of your walks and wish I had a similar place to enjoy such beautiful nature. I hope you have a fabulous weekend.

Your blogs always make me feel better, even when you face your challenges. You are a bright spot always.

Yours was my first blog to find, and as a crochet loving gal it’s been a joy to see the other side of the pond. As some say. And crochet so many of your patterns. Love getting yarn mail from England ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️That canal has been so beautiful to me through these years. Life is def up and down, sad and glad, peace and worry, but mostly faith and hope thread through. Thanks for sharing your world.

I'm not much of a routine person, but I have my little ritual every morning. The alarm goes off at a God-awful early hour, I snooze for a little while, finally rousing myself with thoughts of coffee. Said coffee in one hand and tablet in the other, I go to my "everyday" page where Attic24 is the first entry. There, in the early morning quiet of a new day, I get to awaken gently by visiting my friend Lucy and enjoying what life is like in her part of the world. It is my favorite way to start the day! Thank you for that.

Kate

Thank you for the effort you take to blog. Each one is a gift!! x
