Here in Michigan, U.S., still waiting for my yarn pack to arrive, but when it does, I'll be catching up! Love the colors and the pattern.

Janette Rowland

Love these colours!

Lindsay

It really is absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately I just cannot get the tension right so mine is stuffed in the cupboard until I have the patience to try again ☹️
I’ve tried even dropping to a 3mm hook!
I love reading about the different variations on here!

Elaine O'Prey

Such beautiful work ,I admit to feeling jealous as I adore blankets have on sofa and beds. Full.of the dreaded arthritis but a grat smile this morning to see what can be achieved. Well done on a really homely house feel. Elaine x

Well Lucy, your words regarding crocheting in the heat of the Southern Hemisphere, resonate with me!! I just can't bring myself to start your CAL in summer. The thought of a snuggly blanket getting bigger and bigger on my lap at the moment -I just can't do it! My sweaty hands and a blanket do not compute. It bugs me a bit to have to wait several months to start until we head into the cooler months - sometimes I lose the urge altogether.
I have however, made several of your blankets, I just never know which year it's going to happen.
I do love reading your CAL posts anyway, along with every other one!

Simon

I love to see how other people are approaching the CAL, and how the different colour-ways effect the look of the stitch-pattern! So much inspiration and talent on show is quite a treat on a cold Friday! Yes, even here in the south it's ruddy cold and over the last few days we've been trying to have a fire using this Smokeless Coal stuff. It ain't going well!! But proper coal is banned apparently so we're just going to have to persevere with it! Stay cosy!!👋😀

Kate Buckley

What lovely photos of all the different colour combinations.
I do hope you are managing to enjoy your time in Dorset with your dad and that he hasn't deteriorated too much since you last saw him. A tough time for you. x Kate

Tracy

Beautiful colours and pattern. I can't believe you have things blooming in the winter. We won't see blooms here until we're into May. Enjoying some warm -5C weather before the vortex comes for us again in Alberta Canada.

Lorraine Wood

Although this isn't my 1st Lucy blanket kit, it's my 1st CAL and very chuffed to be keeping up with everything else going on. I've got an excuse for a bit of me n hook time each day to be ready for Fridays 😁

Linda

Thoroughly enjoying doing my two lap blankets from the Springfrost kit. I have my Fireside double over my lap, plus the lap blankets in progress! Really snuggly!
Thanks so much for this brilliant pattern…..love the squishy stitch!

Patricia

We live up North and still having hard frosts. So my lap blanket is already covering my knees as I work! Who needs the heating on! So loving the colours and so enjoy your blog Lucy!

Christine Summerhill

This is becoming one of my favourite blankets (after Hydrangea), it is a lovely two line pattern, the colours are beautiful and what a substantial blanket it is becoming. Cannot wait to get stuck into part three, after I finish an emergency cardi for our youngest grandson.

Thank you Lucy for your inspiration, dedication to all us hookies and your beautiful colourways.

Cathy from Australia

It's 37 degrees celsius today in Perth Western Australia, so I'm not feeling like any cozy hooky action, but my creative brain is whirring about getting back into crochet when the weather cools down a tad. I enjoy seeing all the different colourways that different people dream up. Beautiful.

Christine

I'm feeling famous as I was scrolling through part 3. Because there I am. It must have been the lovely light coming through the window and those gorgeous hydrangea colours. Thank you Lucy, have a wonderful day. Christine xxx
