Some photos from Sunday - I meant to share these with you yesterday but I had to go out in the evening and was too tired to write when I got back. However, I didn't want to lose the memories of a pretty ordinary Sunday which nevertheless felt so nourishing and good.
A lazy start with some crochet in bed, a lovely walk full of Autumn feel-good, then back for a snuggle in bed with a delicious frothy coffee topped with real chocolate flakes. After my coffee I spent a few hours writing up my last blog post before heading downstairs to cook our roast dinner. I don't often blog from my bed, but I have to say it was ever so cosy and I found my words felt like they flowed from a good place in my soul.
Some days just feel blissful in their ordinariness - this was one of those days and I want to remember how good simple weekends can be xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
You really do live in one the most beautiful areas in the world! With the historic buildings and nature it just looks delightful!

I'm having a very trying week and the news of the CAL has cheered me up no end. Just what is needed in January, following the pattern along with everyone else, not having to dream anything up, just cosy crocheting.

Sounds idyllic! Enjoy!

Doesn't staying in bed (with breakfast!) feel decadent! I always think so. And not an expensive thing to do (money-wise).

Hi Lucy A lovely Sunday indeed! Sundays are always my kickback day to go to my 'craft' room and mess around. My, that has got to be the happiest blanket I have ever seen! Going to be a great CAL in the dreariness of winter. Thanks so much, hugs, MO

Do not think your Sunday was ordinary! If that is your normal Sunday you are blessed indeed, and please don't ever feel it's not 'enough' to share, either. Cx

Sounds like a perfect chilled-out day to me! Do you always rewind your yarn? I hadn’t thought of doing that.

It's always a pleasure for the eyes and the soul to look your pictures and read your post. I would like to have a relaxing stroll in the road of the last picture and, I would also like one of your frothy coffee. Two of your cups are my favourite. For example the one with the little blue polka dots...

I really love those photos, especially the road in the second from last pic. Lovely. And I particularly like the idea of chocolate on a coffee. What could be better? CJ xx

Lovely to go for a walk and then a coffee in bed - such bliss.
Love the autumn feel of these photos - my favourite time of year. We're having a very stormy Spring here in Australia

This is where I find myself now as well. Sitting up in bed on a rainy morning with a frothy (decaf) coffee. However the contentment and comfort is short lived as I must get people up and moving for school! I love the photos of Rose hips and mushrooms. So autumnal!

It's cold, is it? One needs to have a coffee and some warmth after being out.
