I thought I'd just pop by to say hello and to let you know that I'm doing OK, I know some of you have been worried and I'm so touched that you take the time to check up on me. Thank you, thank you.
I've just uploaded photos to my computer from the past four weeks, and the hundreds of images have reminded me that May was a very beautiful month all in all, no matter how scattered I've been feeling at times.
It's half term week this week and J has also taken the week off work so we've been spending precious time with the Little People and thoroughly enjoying this spell of gloriously warm and sunny weather. It really has been wonderful this past week, the long sunny days and clear blue skies have made me feel soo good, just what I needed.
I hope you're all doing OK, and I'm sorry for the big gaps in my blogging story just lately. I'll be able to catch you up on all that's been going on with me very soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hello Lucy, made a lot of your blankets but don’t seem to get anything from you for a long time. Are you still on Facebook? You put out every so often a new blanket. Have I somehow missed it. Hoping you are keeping well. Kind regards Mo

Hi Lucy, I'm so happy you're back and feeling better. Its so important to take care of yourself and enjoy the little people. My boys are 9 and 13. I've been walking on my treadmill to help deal with the loss of my Mom. My iFit app has walks through England. Today I walked in the Wast Water Lake district. It was so beautiful. You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place. Love from California.

Lovely to hear from you Lucy. Greetings from sunny East Anglia. Hoping June is kind to you.
PS if you’re craving sourdough bread, you might like to try Warburtons gluten free- it’s so close!
God bless

Very glad that you are doing well but very sad that you are no longer blogging.

Hello Lucy, I’ve just finished a crocheted blanket in the Sudoku Solution pattern (a great challenge) and thought I’d check out your site for inspiration for my next project. I’ve already made Sweetpeas on a Trellis and Hydrangea blankets....so now I’ll make your Dahlia pattern.
It’s winter here in Brisbane Australia and a bit chilly this week so it’s always nice to sit and create something new before the weather heats up again. I enjoy you stories and thank you for sharing your reactivity with us all

Miss your blogs, terribly. Glad you are ok and the weather has been kind for you. I watch old episodes of Gogglebox UK, here in Australia, and every time I think yep, those crochet rugs are your patterns. Lovely to see.

Glad to hear you are doing well and enjoying time with your family. Blogging should be fun...if you need a holiday from it, that's OK!

I agree with the others, it's nice to see you back and know you're all okay. I do enjoy your little slices of Attic24 life.
I'm going to listen to Michael Moseley's podcasts as I think he's very good, I know there's none of the usual rubbish from him. My GP likes him too, that's a good recommendation isn't it? I know early morning walks would do me a lot of good and I do enjoy getting up early. But I also enjoy sitting in the kitchen, day dreaming over my tea so it's not quite working yet. Must try harder.
Did you see Dr Chris van Tulliken on BBC TV this week? He was looking at how we feed our children in the UK and around the world, especially all the ultra processed food we eat. I know you don't, and that's a good influence on me too. He ate an 80% ultra processed food diet for a month and it didn't do him much good. In particular he found that they are very addictive and that, when he stopped, he found it very difficult to quit them. Wow! That's made me change my Sainbury's order I can tell you!
So I've got dried chick peas soaking ready to cook in the pressure cooker for 15 minutes or so. To turn into homemade hummus. A late lunch with pitta breads and lots of chopped salad, summer!

Good to know you are looking after yourself. Blogging can be difficult sometimes - finding something to say isn't always easy, so you take your time and make sure you're up to it before you try again.
Sending you love and hugs from the seaside (Blackpool)

Hi Lucy, I’m fairly new to your website. You inspired me to reacquaint with crochet.
I am working on my first Afghan: Harmony Blanket. I have some beginner questions
As to how one should organize themselves when approaching to start an Afghan.
I am not sure if you have a contact email for Attic24? I hope you and your family are well. I’ve been very busy in the garden planting my veggies and tending my perennial gardens. Thanks again for all you do and offer to the art of crocheting.

Hi Lucy, I'm a relative newbie to your Blog (just at Pt 3 of the Meadow blanket - my 1st!) and love your observations of life and the seasons, your colour inspirations for delicious yarny designs and sharing of your beautiful surroundings.
I took my Meadow to a local Meadow yesterday and crocheted outdoors for the first time (I am down south near the Downs)!
Thank you for all the amazing treasures on here and enjoy the sunny weather
Chris
