About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

first I am already planning on missing your daily blog- it has been hard work for you I am sure but so lovely for me!!! thank you!!! what a lovely thing to help pass the covid blahs.... now asking a question from the US- what does it mean to pass your grammer school exams? I know passing any exam is excellent- but if he didn't pass what would that mean? It seems very mysterious here in california- where you just keep going to school until you are finished with 12th grade and then you either go on to some secondary education or you start work or you travel.... just very curious- thanks

Congratulations B...if you have passed your 11+ and are going to grammar school, you're outgrowing 'little'!
And thank you Lucy, for sharing the highs and lows of your October with us, and for the beautiful photographs!

What fantastic news to receive. Many congratulations. Also have loved your month of daily blogs, so good of you to indulge us each day. Thank you.

Apart from bringing the good news about Little B, thanks for the view of the High Street, a reminder of our visit to Skipton and the Dales in April 2016. It was cold, wet and windy, temperature inside the coach was two degrees, one day we hope to be back.

Well done Little B. Your Australian fan club sends you lots of hugs & congratulations. You have made your parents very proud.

What fabulous news! I still remember running down our garden with my letter 40+ years ago to show our neighbour. How very proud you must all be!
We had a lovely meet up with family at a NT garden. The weather was a bit gloomy but it was good to see them. The flowers were on their final fling but the colours in the woodland lifted our spirits.

Congratulations to Little B, that's absolutely brilliant news, and the start of an exciting new adventure for him. Doughnut very well deserved! CJ xx

Happy for all of you.

Congratulations to you all; LittleB couldn't have done it without his parents' support, added to his own superlative efforts!

And he will long remember the thrill of learning that bakery box was all for him, I'm sure. It's moments like these that make lasting memories.

Congratulations to Little B - I remember hearing about him when we were in France together and he was only a Littley.

My granddaughter is doing so well at school too - so grateful during these difficult times.
