Hi Lucy, I was wondering if anyone has come up with an aria pattern using woodland ripple colours? I have the woodland yarn pack but I cannot get on with the stripes. Or if there’s any other squares blanket that used woodland colours please let me know. Love your work, thank you xx

Jo

Thank you so much for providing stripey options as I am really not a granny square girl but I love the colours of the Aria!
I have just done all my prep and am ready to start my blanket in Cosy Stripe which is my go to pattern with the kit my sister gifted me on Christmas Day two days ago!

Thanks again Lucy for another gorgeous blanket pattern - happy Christmas xXx

Hi! I'm currently making this gorgeous blanket, I am enjoying it immensely, so much so that I'd love to create another in different colours...blacks, greys, reds, white, cream...but I can't work out how to use them to get an effective granny square design. I was wondering if you can help please? Thank you!

Dawn

I haven't done any crochet for about 5 years, but I'm back at it and loving every minute.
I am absolutely in love with this blanket!
I'm not too keen on little squares and looked at the stripey ones but I think I'm going to have to go with the squares this time. They really do sing and I don't think anything else will do :)
I'm currently making a granny stripe having to substitute colours but I'm really enjoying it but I'll definitely be buying the Aria pack once I'm done.

I'm currently doing your Dalihia mixed stripe blanket which I adore. I love all of your blankets but I've got day I think your Aria blanket is the best yet!!!You just go from strength to strength. Thank you Lucy for sharing your beautiful creations with us. I hope you and the clan are all well. Much love being sent from the West Midlands.xxx

It is Christian in nature and proclaims repentance and points out the wrong course society has taken, with modern civilization trying to turn the world away from Christ.
it's for the salvation of the people, it comes from an amazing album but it has not been released yet

The blanket is amazing. I just recently found your blog and I can’t stop admiring the way you combine colors :)
Thank you.

Patricia

Lucy, love your work. The colours in your squares didn't grab me, but your happy hooky friends' work with your colour palette did.
Love it!

Elaine Heron

Wow, just stunning. Starting my crochet journey so would love any hints, tips or hacks
Thank you, Elaine

Lucy: congratulations for the most beautiful blanket I've ever seen! Is amazing! I really love it! You're a great artist! I wish I could get your colors here, in Argentina, but is really difficult to get things from there in our actual economy, buy outside of our country is almost impossible now. But I'm all get what I can and give a try to your Aria as soon as I can. Thanks a lot and God bless you and your family. Keep safe! Kisses, Moni

Emma

I really like the pattern that Kris has done. Is it possible to share that sequence please?

Amanda Smith

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! Just one "wow!" wouldn't do :) This is a gorgeous blanket and it will definitely be my next Lucy designed creation. Thank you for letting us peek into your process of designing - it is fascinating. You are so thoughtful and patient as well as creative. Thank you to J for the spreadsheets and to your team of friends for creating the different versions. They are all beautiful!

Tana

Is there a list of how many centers you need for each color? I know I can go through the color sequence for the squares and count my own but I inevitably miss one and don’t have enough centers.

I love this color combo and can’t wait to get started!

Daphne

You look beautiful in your gorgeous blanket, in your happy place, I agree dorset is divine lovely to hear from you again you are as I’ve said before such an inspiration to us all love Daphne x

Jill

Hi Lucy, another wonderful blanket! I love the border, rainbows give me a special feeling. But I have to admit, it is the interlocking ripple by Kris that I really really love, sorry. I don't know, it's also kind of a rainbow, but it's the combination with the interlocking ripples or something... I don't know, I just want it! Thank you for all your great patterns and inspiration, I always love your colours.

Kate

Excellent effort and delightful commentary! To the commenters who can't see all the photos, click on the links provided, they all came up for me and are as you'd expect well worth the time.
You inspired me to take up crocheting with your exquisite colour works so big thankyou from Australia!!

In your paragraph headed "24th April..." there is a photo of a beautiful blanket draped over a chair in the background. Is there a yarn pack for this on the Wool Warehouse site?

Anne Rayner-Gould

I'm having the same problem with the images; only six loaded. Fortunately, that's more than enough to see how splendidly gorgeous this blanket is. Congratulations!
