Hello!

About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Have you noticed that your first bird photo shows them in the shape of a heart?!
Very appropriate for Valentines Day!

Lovely blog, Lucy. The fresh air is always so tantalising. Felt as if I was there just so easy to ramble along.

How I love your posts Lucy, because I know all the places you talk about and Visit and I can just picture where you are.
You are so productive, and I wish I had the drive to keep being creative. I have hit a bit of a trough since Christmas and need to get back into creativity once again.
I so enjoy reading about your every day life, and I hope we bump into one another one of these days on one of your walks around the woods or on the canal.

What fun to go on that hike two days in a row.. your snowdrops are darling. Ours were up and then got buried by a snow storm here in Oregon.. I've posted lots of photos of the snow and our farm on my blog over the last few days. I'm working hard on my Sweet Pea to catch up.. I'm excited to see what you design for the border! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Love reading about your world Lucy. xxx I live across the other side of the world in New Zealand but I was born in Manchester so feel a lovely sense of connection to your place. I love Yorkshire ... travelled there 3 years ago and fell in love with the place. Keep your blogs coming. They are such a treat!
