Oh, I seriously thought the horse was real! I was wondering how you'd got up so close - and what it was doing in the woods! I love sculptures like that xx

Heather Coady

Lovely photos! I love walking in the woods .

I also thought the horse was real, and hadn't ever seen that you had photographed any live animals before. Our fall is about over here in Montana, your greenery is so lovely.

I love your walks Lucy such a beautiful woodland and the sculptures make it that extra bit more special.
We have a place we visit in Devon that has a few similar sculptures and on our last visit they had a unicorn made from wicker I shared it in my summer posting on my blog. I so adore Autumn for all the beauty in the colours and the Autumnal sunlight. Though, I looked at my twelve year old daughter as she stepped outside the cottage door heading off to School into the frosty, crisp and freezing air her face was a picture. ;) x

I too thought the horse was real at first! Such a talent to make something as beautiful as that. Your walk sounds perfect for a half term Monday morning. It’s been a glorious day indeed. Autumn at its best xxx

Gosh I thought the horse was real. How utterly stunning. x

We are just back from The Enchanted Forest at Pitlochry, Lucy, and I think you would enjoy that experience of sound and light in Faskally Wood. It was -5 last night which made it even more magical. Lovely photos and we had a beautiful run home in glorious autumn sunshine with some ethereal mist coming and going amoung the hills.
