A Little Break

Hello!!!

Life has been busy and I can't believe that two weeks have passed by since the butterflies made their kaleidoscopic appearance here in the Attic. Last week we were away on a family holiday, and this week has pretty much been  spent recovering from the aforementioned holiday! Not in a bad way mind you (if you don't count the laundry mountain), more a like a slow acclimatization to being back home after a hot, hot week in a foreign land. We had a wonderful holiday and although I've uploaded a collection of photos to share with you, my mind isn't in quite the right place for me to articulate the experience just yet.

I'm also in the middle of yet more laundry and packing as I go away again in the morning, so time is running away with me a bit. I'm heading down to Dorset for a short break, it's a solo trip by train for me this year for various reasons (broken car, teenagers etc) but I'm very much looking forward to a bit of sea air and some breathing space. It's a whole year since we buried my Mum's ashes, and I need to be where my heart is pulling me for a short while.

I'll be back here in the Attic next week - I hope you are enjoying your days..
