Hi Lucy, we had a static caravan on the East Coast for 18 wonderful years, we spent most weekends there. My boys went from being 6 months until 18 years old, so it's like our second home.
I love seeing your blogs from when you visit the coast.
Can I suggest a wonderful place, where you can walk, eat and drink and take in wonderful scenery. It is a truly magical place - falling foss https://www.fallingfossteagarden.co.uk/

Wonderful, complete relaxation is a rare luxury isn't it. You certainly deserve it, especially after Yarndale. What a pretty place to visit, with some great walks. Love the doggy in the window! Hope you have a fantastic birthday. I am ten days older than you! CJ xx

Lovely evocative post. So good to have time away from family life too. We stayed at Runswick Bay about three years ago and our hotel room had a balcony overlooking the bay. We sat out there all evening even in the pitch black. Wonderful memories!

Since I'll never get there in person (its on my bucket list) i love going along on your travels. The photos and descriptions make the experience come alive.
Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary. And thanks again for your wonderful travelogue.

A lovely blog Lucy, I live in Marske just along the sands from Saltburn, you've just made me appreciate my home again and not take it for granted, so pleased you enjoyed your stay x
