About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Aah my home town! I grew up in Blackpool and visited Stanley Park and the model village often. St Anne's was considered very posh and was a rare treat! Thanks for sharing your day and the beautiful photos. Oh that sky.....makes my heart sing xxx

Did you see the Borrowers? This would be the perfect place for them to live ;) Such a lovely place, I'd like to go there with my own "not so small people".

Love it! I never thought of a model village for a day out with the kids. Will have to find one close by now!

Oh how delightful!!! A charming tiny village, a garden AND the beach!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I think that the little village was in an episode of Midsomer Murders! The murder wasn't good but the village was adorable. My friends and I are coming from the US to Yarndale this year and we are very excited. I have socks for the donation and money saved for purchases. Thanks for always being so uplifting for us and giving us your amazing patterns and the colors we should use.

What a wonderful day out and sooo much sand. Lovely.
