November has started out so blinkin' lovely that I find myself walking around feeling constantly glad of of it, from the top of my ditzy head right down to my woolly-clad toes. The bright sunshine, blue skies and natural beauty all around is making me so happy, which is more than a little bit lovely in this month which often feels a weeny bit bleugh to me.
I'm busy at the moment, working towards three different design deadlines which all fall next week (atrocious timing, especially for someone like me who has a tendency to fly high by the seat of my pants when faced with one deadline, let alone three). I'm loving being busy mind you, I'll be able to share more of what I'm up to soon but two of the design projects are for other people so I have to remember to keep my lips zipped up for now. My new blanket though, oh I can't WAIT to show you all that next week! Eeeeeep, soooo excited about that!
However busy I am though, there has to be time for a bit of a wander when the mood strikes, especially when the day is drop dead gorgeous and it's impossible to ignore the call of it. Today I decided on a whim to walk the Long Way Home after the school drop off. I followed the canal tow path away from the streets and into the start of the woodland - oh the light and colours was nothing short of magical this morning. It made my heart sing to be able to meander slowly along, looking up into the treetops, scuffing my boots through the leaves and smiling to myself as I walked for the pure pleasure of being out and about.
I've missed being here in the Attic recently, and it feels good to be back. I've got lots to share, it pains me to keep things from you, feels all wrong if I don't divulge all the itty-bitty little things that have made me happy and glad each day. I am most definitely a sharer. We managed to get away for a bit at the end of October, a quick jaunt down to Dorset to catch up with my folks. I spent some lovely time breathing in the sea air and going crazy over a whole bunch of hydrangeas. Like you do.
I'll be back soon to show you the aforementioned sea views and floral close-ups, bet you can hardly contain yourself.......haha!
