hope you don't have snow today. beautiful photos.

Hi Lucy, I often find that the long walk home is the shortest route to serenity and wellbeing. I hope the autumn weather continues to be kind.

Thanks for sharing :) I like to read your blog and see your photos - especially the boats as I'm a narrowboater. I'm currently making your cosy stripe blanket and after looking at your Autumn pics I think I might make another one....in Autumnal shades. Your blog always inspires me!

Ooh England at its most glorious! With the new season's natural palette I should think you see another blanket coming on. I'm looking forward to seeing the new one, I'll have to see how closely I can match the colours here as mail order from U.K. Is impossible.....
I just love your posts so much, I hope the mild weather stays for a long time.

Completely gorgeous! Tell us, how old are the buildings in your area? They look quite old and have marvelous patina.

I can't knit or crochet but still love your blog. Stunning photos. Natalie

Your Long Way Home is very pretty Lucy. Can't wait to see your new blanket.

Pictures like these are what I like most about your blog. Just looking at them gives me a feeling of pure inner peace. I would love to see the places in person but your pictures are always so well done that they are almost like being there. Thank you.

What a beautiful colourful walk - lovely xx

November has been pretty stunning so far, hasn't it, even though we're just a few days in. We had frost this morning so clearly it's going to be a month of all seasons! xx

So lovely to find a post from you this morning! A beautiful walk, so glad you are finding things to love about Autumn this year. I love forward to seeing and hearing more about your blanket. It's that time of year, when you know you have a gazillion and one blankets already but the NEED to start another one is too strong! ;D Happy hooking!xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I know exactly what you mean about walking around feeling so joyous to be out and about in the countryside at the moment...I've definitely found myself grinning like a fool recently. Even when other things are stressful and complicated, being out in the elements is always grounding 😊

What lovely photos capturing such glorious color and bounties of nature!

Glad you are back and can't wait to hear about your visit to the sea and see your lovely new, brilliantly colorful blanket!

Hope your day is enchanting!

Thank you Lucy for sharing your day with your photos, they are stunning. Have missed your blog and looking forward to hearing what you have been up to and seeing your new blanket.

What wonderful photos! The colours are magical! Lovely to read such uplifting words on a cold autumn morning!

Lovely photos, though I definitely don't like this time of the year as I hate the cold. I love the Spring and the promise of warmer weather. However you do make it look better with our photos!!
