Hi Lucy,
About 2 weeks ago I finished the Sunny Log Cabin blanket and I am really pleased with it. I look forward to trying out this new pattern.

Hi Lucy, I want to add two shades of grey to represent the granite tors of Dartmoor near where I live, I'm trying to plan where I'm going to put them so im just wondering how many times each of the other colours will be used so I know how many I need to fit in

Looking forward to the blanket cal. Gorgeous colours and definitely my preferred colour palette. January 6th is my birthday so what a great day to start. Thank you Lucy

For Nancy who commented earlier up thread, I think it looks like Lucy is using Clover Armour crochet hooks, at least I think so. I like my Knit Pros myself, which are similar but a bit shorter which suits my hand size better. I had a gorgeous purple Clover 4mm but gave it away to a friend. :)

I am very excited about this CAL. I absolutely love the colours that you have chosen, they suit my taste perfectly. Looking forward to getting cracking with this blanket in the new year. Thank you so much for sharing your pattern and talents with us all :)

My bag of gorgeous colours arrived the other day and they look fab together. 6th January is my birthday and is normally a non-event, but starting this new blanket is going to be the best present! I cannot wait. Thanks Lucy!

Winwick Mum

I've just had to look it up on and it's been 3 years since I made my Neat Ripple blanket - you've brought this new one out just in time! :) Can't wait to get started, it'll be nice to have some crochet on the go again after so long! xx

It's taking shape! I look forward to seeing everyone's blankets!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Looks like so much fun! I've put the Yarn Pack on my Christmas list and the 6 weeks of waiting are just what I need to finish up a Granny Stripe blanket that I've been working on for much longer than I want to admit here. :) Thanks so much for giving me something lovely to look forward to! Oh, I can't wait to get started when I see all those beautyful pictures. The one where you see the structure in the sun... wow! Really looking forward to the 6th of January, more then ever now.

I can't wait! These photos make it look like a tapestry. It's beautiful.

I absolutely love the texture of this one, and the colours as well. Although I'm a big fan of the sea dn the beach I think these gorgeous moorland colours are my favourites. CJ xx

Since reading the stitches list feel a bit overwhelmed! - but will still try!
Hoping to blog it on

Julie Davies

Can you please tell me the latest you could post out a Colour Pack to Western Australia so that I get it in time to start the CAL? All I need to do is decide what colours! I'm very excited to give this a go! Julie

Thank-you much, enjoy the post. Ohhh, getting excited, anxious feels like prepping for an exam. The lovely bundle of yarn sits on the table like a gift waiting to be opened. Have not allowed myself to touch it quite yet. Playing with "Heatwave Weekend Bag" yarn, one crochet project @ a time... ^..^ ^..^

Teresa Kasner

Bravo on another gorgeous blanket project. You're really amazing. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Awesome, thank you! I absolutely love the coloirs in that cushion cover, I was thinking of making a raindrops cushion at some point but now I think I love this one even more! Gorgeous. Look forward to the CAL, even if I don't do a blanket (I have two others of yours on the go).

I love your blog and patterns but also love your colourful crochet hooks - where did you get those? Thanks!

Will you post a list of the colors you are using?

Woohoo!! So excited! Think I'm going to do it from my stash just need to figure out if I have enough!

Thank you. Looking forward to a new favorite.. Love ripple and granny stripe but it is time for a change.

I learned to crochet about a year ago so I could make your Cosy blanket. I've just finished my second blanket (Cottage colours, Cosy pattern) and we are very grateful to have both on the sofa in this cold weather!

I'm going to do the CAL, but double bed sized. And much as I love the Moorland colours, I'm going to do my own mix of reds & golds for my bedroom. Gulp! I'd better get practicing the different stitches as pretty much everything else I've made so far has been treble :)

thanks a bunch, dear Lucy, for all those useful information :)
I have received my Moorland yarn pack + the cute stickers, and although I'll certainly enjoy the coming Xmas time to the mst, I just can't wait starting this wonderful CAL under your guidance!

In stitches,

I've made so many ripple blankets after learning from your tutorial several years ago. It is my default pattern. Because I'm so hooked on this pattern (pun intended), crocheting an afghan using a different pattern is never an attractive option. I'm excited to try this new pattern and maybe find that I have two favorites instead of only one. You are the reason I am now an avid crocheter as I had taken a 40-year hiatus. Grandchildren got me interested again; you refined my stitching with your excellent tutorials. I have my Erin Condren planner, my crochet stickers are on the way, and my Moorland pack arrived via Royal Mail here in Austin, Texas on Wednesday. I'm ready to go! Thank you so much for all that you do for us in the crochet community!

Chris Smith

Thank you Lucy for another inspiring blanket. I can't wait!
