About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Loving the sound of a woodland blanket, can hardly wait xxx

I call Tilly's coloring marmalade. Just the right sort of camouflage for an outdoor kitty. She looks like the perfect snuggle-cat on your blankets. I hoepshe knows just how good she's got it! Would love to hear her story some time. Here comes winter!

You have such beautiful Autumns over there. We are having a crazy Spring down here in Kangarooland with winds and rain etc, but Im relishing the bunches of sweet peas I can bring inside. I look forward to seeing your new blanket grow. Xox L

Always a pleasure to read your blog. I have such happy memories of visits to a place much like where you live. I live in a hot and mostly very dry part of Australia.

So looking forward to the new blanket developments! I've just started a smaller version of your ripple blanket, as a "welcome to the world" gift for my cousin's expected baby. I really am so grateful for your tutorials, Lucy, they're so clear that even a crochet Muppet like me can follow them successfully! Tilly looks delightful, I'm sure she'll feature in many a blog post to come :) I enjoy a bit of quiet time early in the morning, too - when the world is mine and I can enjoy a peaceful coffee while the sun climbs over the horizon. Stay warm xx

What a lovely way to finish the weekend.gorgeous as ever.that snow looks amazing.it didn't quite manage it to Uttoxeter much to the disappointment of my class of eyrs children.Like you I think this winter will be an interesting one so I'm sure we'll see some soon.looking forward to the new blanket.😊
