1. My mandala hoops looked wonderful hanging/spinning/swinging under the trees at the weekend, although the windy conditions made them ever so slightly hazardous it has to be said. I want to make more! Mandala Madness has gripped me!!
2. Yarndale was just incredible this year, and despite the exhaustion I loved every single minute of it. I've got lots to show you and chat about, but need a few days to concentrate on pressing Yarndale-ish things first before I settle back into any lengthy blog writing here in the Attic.
3. My studio is looking so amazingly tidy haha, that is newsworthy indeed!! I've been there today, sat at my desk doing Yarndale things (I created a whole Pinterest board to showcase every single one of the 700 woolly sheep, if you want to go see?!). Also, I love that so many of you popped in across the weekend and left such kind and generous words in my blue book, I've had a little cry over those pages. Thank you xx
4. Life is good. It's bloomin' great actually!

ps two more things - lots of Yarndale news over on Facebook & a very lovely video for you to watch too, if you didn't make it to Yarndale and want to see what it's all about. More soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hello, I wanted to buy some project bags but in spite of my asking if there would be plenty of stock for those of us coming to Yarndale on the Sunday, they were sold out.
I was assured that they would be in stock again but of course it means I will have to buy them online. Do you know when they will be in stock again please?
It was a bit of an issue this year in that several stalls had run out of things I was interested in buying having had a look at exhibitors on line.
However, I do not want you to think that I did not have a good day. I loved my day at Yarndale as I always do and will be there next year.

Hi, do you have a pattern for crochet sweet peas and iris? I want to make a small bouquet for a friends wedding gift to replicate her bouquet.
Thank you 😊

Hi admin
Its really awesome, that's the blog you admire I liked it.
I have also this related site.
The word Mandala originates from the Sanskrit that means center or magic circle. The two main components of the mandala are a circle and a center point.
you can see here for a lot of data: mandala elephant

What a great weekend it must have been! The video made me wonder if there is a list of vendors so the rest of us could shop? I'm hoping next year could be the year I make it to Yarndale. I was at least in the country this year but sadly driving from Cornwall to Skipton wasn't part of the plan. Congrats on another incredible Yarndale!!

Hi Lucy,
Really looking forward to the weekend bag tutorial. I wanted to know if I use stylecraft dk doubled up (100g balls) in slightly different colours than yours, would I still be able to use the same number of balls? The chunky range of colours doesn't include all of my favourites.

thank you for sharing the video. looks like I would really have enjoyed it but I had other things I had to do, unfortunately. I see there was fabric too - ooh next year I hope.

Love reading about Yarndale and so jealous of all those who live close and can go. I am enthralled with all the sheep and was wondering if there was a pattern?
Thank you for all you do, Lucy!

Can't help thinking how wonderfully unselfish you and the rest of the Yarndale team are to organise all this....a GREAT BIG THANKS from crafters who went and those of us couldn't x x x x

At this time I am still working on my Coast king size blanket, 2 pairs of socks that had been placed aside, and a baby blanket. But now Lucy, you are responsible for me starting a Mandala. They look so beautiful. Thanks for the inspiration.

Jackie Farrow???? 8000 miles for Yarndale? You deserve a prize!!! But Yarndale (and Lucy) are worth it. I had a scream of a time with my daughter. I spent far too much... oops... but I will love making my scarf and her owls and her gloves with owls on and her owl hat....

The mandalas look fabulous and I've enjoyed all the pictures across Facebook and Instagram, which have made up a little bit for not being there. Maybe next year!

Lucy it was my first year for yarndale and all I can say is that it was amazing and will definitely be back next year. Well organised with a great variety of suppliers. Well done to all that was involved. Didn't get to see the sheep as believe they all sold on the Saturday. Didn't make it to your shop, feel another visit to Skipton coming on.

I am glad Mandala Madness has gripped you, because that means we'll see more of them! And that will motivate me to use some of my extra yarn to make some mandala hoops for Coral Belle. I think she will love them.
