About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

I've often thought it would be fun to do a crocheting retreat where we go to a place like that and hang out and crochet.. and you did it! Bravo! It looks like loads of fun. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Lovely post Lucy. Gorgeous gift exchanges too! I am a very dedicated shawl, wrap, scarf, poncho wearer and have created many different looks. I think wrap before I think jumper or any other item of hooky snuggliness! Dress up, dress down, sitting on the couch, there is never an occasion that does not call for a wrap of some kind! Your shawl looks beautiful. I hope you enjoy this new side of hooking.

Lovely lovely cute mice in their bower glad you had a break ,love Jenny x

And you didn't call in at Yarnbirds 😥 in Whaley Bridge. Maybe next time?

Sounds like you all had great fun, and probably just the tonic you needed. The shawl looks lovely, and I'm sure the lucky recipient of the mouse bower is delighted, they're so cute! And, oh Lucy, the sock knitting bug has got me badly! Third pair nearly finished, and with this changeable weather, very much appreciated.

That wreath is sooooooo cute. <3
