2015 :: Year End Review :: twelve months

This collection of images tells  a gentle story of a quiet, happy life, and for that I am ever so grateful. I have come to realise that there is a lot to be said for a peaceful existence, a life without too many ups and downs, a life filled with happiness and creativity, love and simple pleasures.

This is my eighth year-end round up, and blissfully very little has altered since the first. We are still taking the same kind of simple holidays, I am still pootling at home, still crocheting, still mothering my brood, still appreciating the seasons, the weather, the views. It's all reassuringly familiar and rhythmic and I really am full of gratitude for it all. I love love love this life of mine, I am truly blessed.

I would like to wish you all a super-duper, Happy New Year, I hope 2016 brings amazing things your way. Thank you so, so much for being here, your friendship is one of my true blessings.

Lucy, just echoing my wife's wishes for a Happy New Year. As you may suspect I am less interested in the actual hookiness but I love the colors and always like your sharing a cup of tea or walks in your market town. Although you still call them Little People, they must be getting well along the road to being Big People. I also loved the blogs about the installation of the new windows. Done so very different than would have been done here in the states.

Happy 2016 Lucy...You and your blog have made my life more colourful.
We now have a Granny,Cosy and almost a Sunny blanket,three bower birds, bunting galore,cushion covers,a jolly chunky bag and not to forget loads of mandalas,flowers and stars everywhere! I'm still planning a longed for coastal stripe blanket so my life is definitely more colourful xxx
