That looks so fantastic Lucy, what a great mum you are! I made Lola Nova's spiced pumpkin cake (recipe on her blog), and I will definitely make it again. Might reconcile Little B with pumpkin innards....;-)

Fabulous job Lucy! I've done cats before but never thought of the Cheshire! Your Jack o' lantern's theme matched my oldest daughter's costume this year, she was Alice in wonderland, the one from the video game, a darker version for sure. I worked all weekend nearly on her costume, so not much time to spend on the pumpkin I'm afraid, so it became a mummy with no carving at all this year.(Picture on Flickr.) Enjoy the day!

Looks really amazing!

Pauline

Fantastic carving Lucy and it looks amazing when lit up. You will have had of insides left, did you make them into anything, soup or roasting? My neighbour decorates his house and it looks amazing and spooky and I get lots of children calling so they all get a treat. Glad to hear you had a great time with your family, friends and neighbours.

Cintia

That pumpkin is amazing. It really does look like the Cheshire cat when lit.
Halloween is growing here but is not really an Aussie thing. We had four kids visit. I now have to eat all the leftover chocolate by myself.

That's a really gorgeous pumpkin carving!!

Irene Porter

Lovely carving, did you eat the inners?
