Beautiful photos!

There is something very calming about still, reflective water isn't there, which I too love. And on the other side of the spectrum, I also love the wild majesty of stormy sea, don't you?

Susan Smith

I know I don't comment often, but always read your blog. Those photos of the reflections in the canal are just stunning. Although I've walked along some stretches of the canal whilst in UK, I've never walked along any near Skipton when we've been to the town. Thanks so much and take care.

Janet Bennett

Such beautiful photos Lucy, I so appreciated them. Thank you. :-)

What gorgeous photos Lucy. The colours are absolutely stunning at this time of year, especially when the sun comes out. And the woods are utterly enchanting, with those wide paths of crunchy leaves. Wonderful. CJ xx

Those reflection pictures are just fabulous, and just as good if not better if you turn them upside down! xx

I love your photos, Lucy. I can spend a long time looking at the reflections in a pool of water too, especially trees. I'm glad you're enjoying autumn.

Autumn. It's the best.

Beautiful photos of my favourite time of year. I love the tranquility of these pictures, the slight melancholy as the leaves fall, the sun shines for maybe the last few times before winter sets in...thank you for sharing.

I love it when you get such a wonderful mirror-image in the water like that. Better still when you can capture it and you have that memory forever. Gorgeous colours in that topsy-turvy world.

I am similarly lost in admiring the unique beauty of this season...but enjoying it across the pond from you, Lucy :) Thanks for taking the time to share what you are enjoyingxx

Beautiful love Jenny x
