Hi . You are so creative. Love everything.i leant how to crochet couple of years ago ,still learning:)

Eleonora from Coastal Crochet

Oooooh, I LOVE your blankets. I just wish there were more hours in the day so I could create many of my own too! :)

Ann Clarke

Hi Lucy, I have only just discovered your blog, girl after my own heart!

I have a partner who is retired, like me, but has no hobbies, so he can't understand how much I enjoy my hobbies of crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, I make all my own greetings cards and re-discovered reading in bed, which I hadn't done for years as he used to moan about me having a light on. But now I have my kindle fire, I can read to my heart's content! LOL

Love all your crochet, especially the blankets, so colourful! I hadn't done any crocheting for ages, but got back into it a little while back while on a train down to Kent to stay with my daughter for a few days.

So just made a couple of granny square blankets for great granddaughter's dollies, a granny square cushion for great granddaughter, and I'm just making her a scarf too!

I've also just received a little kit from lovecrochet.com to crochet a snowflake for the Home-Start crochet a Snowflake for Christmas campaign!

Have added you to my favourites, so I can keep up with all your wonderful makes! xxx

Gillian

I just love crocheted blankets.

Maggie

Oh Lucy you are a girl after my own heart! I too am quite happy in my own company and there is nothing I like better than pottering at home, to pull a chair up by the fire and enjoy some peace and quiet....bliss :-)

I will enjoy seeing the progress on the new CAL.

Ingeborg Groth

Hello Lucy, I don't know any other way to alert you on a beautiful blanket. It was created by Dedri Uys, who is a sort of 'competitor' of you. I hope you don't mind my message but I'm quite sure you will like the blanket. Here's the link:

Oh I so regret the fact that my eleven grandchildren have never had the chance of experiencing the warm fuzzy feeling you get in a room with a lovely open fire. Living in a warm climate has its disadvantages!!

Professional pootling ... emergency cleaning ... crochet as a reward ... oh my, I think you and I would get along in real life just fine! I love your blog, thank you for sharing!

Jean

I'm a potterer too, love your blog.🏪

Linda

as always lovely colourful pictures, thank you for sharing!

Gail

Love all those bright, cozy looking colours in your throws/blankets/afghans. Reading this post makes me want to pick up the crochet hook again. Now to figure what some of the things you said equate to over here in Canada - like pootling???

Chel @ Sweetbriar Dreams

I love pottering around and plan on doing so with my week off. Lots of cleaning and tidying and getting throws and blankets out of storage to dot around the home and snuggle up in at night time. Your home looks so cozy with the fire blazing away and such a luxury to sit in your own company before half term! Looking forward to the crochet along xx

I am so with you in this potter job, if only it paid better wages hahaha. I just love it and like you could go on for hours and hours, after all they do say that time flies when you are having fun.
That fire looks like a dream, i'm very envious. i'd so love an open fire at home. maybe one day.

Hi Lucy - love the fire. I went to Whitby on Tuesday it was glorious and it never disappoints. Please look out for a little package for you in the post at Coopers, couldn't resist and its a thank you for all the years you have made me smile and made me finally crochet! Just finished my first CAL and now have confidence to buy one of your packs for the New Year months-probably the Ripple pattern as that what urged me to learn to hook. Also to cheer you up after some of the negative people you have to put up with re Yarndale. xx

Linda

Lovely post! I love all the cosy things about Autumn. Love all the colours in your home:)

Your blog is a pleasure to read. Your life seems delightful. how do you wash your blankets?

Winifred

Oh my I'm glad someone else likes faffing about. Mind you mixed up with your faffing is some real work. I've had a day of total self indulgence finishing a lace shawl. Was desperate to get it done as I was running out of wool. For some daft reason I wanted it done before I ran our of wool!!!!!

Hoping to start your winter wreath soon and I look forward to seeing your new blanket Sunny. Sounds lovely.

Helen

Pootling, that's exactly what I've been doing too and it's nice to cosy up at home this time of year. Your blankets all look so cosy. Hx

Georgina Pamela Davis

Hi,I adore the picture of your beautiful armchair next to your real fire, how I envy you that bit of cosiness!!The blankets and cushions work so well on your comfy looking sofa.Pam

I have a question Lucy, how do you keep your blankets clean? do they go in the washing machine?

Will you be sharing that blanket design and color order when you finish? please oh please oh please??!! ;)

Heidi minnaar

BJ
