Hello!

About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Gwenna, I think the blanket you mean is the granny patchwork blanket. Look at Lucy's ta-dah's on the right hand side of the blog for the pattern.
Lucy, I love this time of year too. The anticipation of longer, warmer days, ditching the winter clothes and feeling the sun soaking into your bones - bring it on! The blanket is looking good too, lovely Lucy colours. Thanks for sharing.

Sharon

wow just love that den, our girls used to do that but at the time we only had fleece blankets :)

Cindy

I'm excited about these colors too ! I am doing the cosy blanket right now. But these new colors are exactly what I need next
Thank you for all you do!

Oh those colours, swoon! They work so well together. And bless Little B and his den. I rather like the idea of camping out in the lounge under blankets instead of going to work tomorrow!

We've had a lovely start to the Easter Holidays too, my little girl (4) loves nothing better that den building with her duvet and covers. Can't wait for the weather to get that bit better so they can build dens outside in the sunshine!

Ohhh another blanket? I'm super excited! I have just begun a blanket of my own (my first one ever!), it's such wonderful colours, so pretty. How I would love to build a blanket fort and spend all day in it colouring and crocheting! :)

Ahhh so much loveliness! I know that feeling of twenty minute blissful quiet -I was treated to a whole week once! Makes such a difference to the day. Enjoy the Easter hols :-)

what is the pattern called for the afghan hanging in front and touching the floor ( not the granny square one)? Love it!

Sarah Green
