Loving the new colors.
I'm seeing a trend toward the more nostalgic.
A shift toward the romantic, with shades of softness & warmth, a cozy feeling.

Yes, I like it a lot!

Lucy, just love all those gorgeous colours on your studio shelves, lovely to see them all together! Think the new shades blend in very well, the sage looks similar to duck egg blue, will have to have 'em all 😍 xx

Rebecca

Aaaaaargh, was literally *just* about to enter the competition with my favourite dress which is pretty much exactly the same colour as 'sage'! Good job I checked here first, thanks for your post! Back to the drawing board....

The storm blue is lovely, I have an old sage green bought thousands of years ago in Australia and still use it now and then... I swear it grows in the cupboard and will never run out!
Great ideas for colours. I am not keen on the mauve but then I don't care for many of their garish colours. I'll be interested to see the new winning shade.

Thistle

I'm really in love with the storm blue. I've been mixing another brand's yarn of a similar shade with my Stylecraft for a couple of years now, hoping they'd come out with one like this eventually.

Olga

The colours in the photo on the stylecraft page look totally different to the ones here! The colours look much more muted over there...
That's the only problem with buying wool online, the colour is rarely as it looks on the screen ...

June

I need to buy some pegs! Great way to look at colour combinations.

Teresa

I love these new shades I think they0re marvellous!!! And they are great for the combinations you talk about. Good news!

Sandra

I really like the look of 'SAGE'. And long for a green that is somewhere between 'MEADOW', which to me has a deadness about it, and 'GREEN'. I have just not got my act together sufficiently to enter the competition. :-(
BTW never apologise for playing with yarn and colour - makes me ridiculously happy too!!! :-))

I love the new muted shades from Stylecraft but wondered why they have released them now....when they have already having a competition . Mmm didn't quite get it. Beautiful colours though.I love this yarn.
