Saw my first wild crocus today all by itself under the hedge. Spring really is on it's way. Have decided to do the moorland blanket. A bit late but I assume the pattern will still be there. If not might have to have another trip to Yorkshire. No great hardship. Love it. Just started raining here again. But no rain equals no flowera.
Have a happy end to half term, Bernie

Greetings from America. My heart is in North Yorkshire. I have yet to visit but my ancestors are Cawood's from Cawood. Records can only be dated to the 1200's. I enjoy your photos. Makes me feel at home.

Holly

Love the Cornish blue!

Did you get your lovely Oxogen shoes while down on one of your visits to Bridport, I used to work for STEPTOES and we sold them for many years, I often think that when I see your Red ones as well they were great shoes fab colours 📐

Joan Jepson

Hi Lucy - I have just subscribed to your blog although I have followed it for a while. I think your photography is beautiful and especially liked the daffodils. They are not quite out yet in Cumbria but will be here soon.
I have just started a blog myself (www.aviewtothefells.com) and am hoping to add some flower photographs too. I hope you can find time to look at my blog. Any feedback would be most welcome. Many thanks. Joan

What will you be using your tape for Lucy, I've never heard of it before but the colours are lovely x

I love the washi tape colours, so bright and yet somehow soft at the same time. Happy Spring.

Dear Lucy,

what a nice word: heart-skipping happy.
I truly recognize your 3 sources of happiness, they make my heart skip as well!

Jill Smith

You made me very happy to, daffodils are my favorite flowers and yours are my best ones to. Am not over keen on the pale ones but these with there golden faces are the best. Mine haven't done to well this year, only 7 came up so none in a vase for the first time. I t must be the golden colours that cheer everyone. I love roses to but they don't give the same happiness as daffodils.

Robin

Happy Spring Lucy - cos WE know it starts today ;) !!!

I love the bright yellows and the delicious scent of narcissus! In fact, I must buy some today!
Yesterday, 1, the sunshine made me happy; 2, that it was Friday made me happy, and 3, spending the day on a screen printing workshop made me very happy!

Enjoy your weekend with your family xx

Claire

I'm intrigued as to what you are going to do with the tape! Love your posts, always so colourful and inspirational. Thank you.

Francesca

Dear Lucy
I'd love to see a post of what you end up doing with the washi tape. Have seen similar tapes (I think there were some patterned ones in a shop called Tiger).
Happy crafting!

Lovely pictures of the daffodils. I'm currently staying in Germany, so getting daffodils and crocuses already outside. In Canada (sk) there is still snow and lots, but by the time we are home, in May, we'll have spring. Love your blog.

One-oh-four

If you are ever in need of replacing your shoes with a new pair you can take a look at the collection of "Duckfeet" http://www.duckfeet.com/
The "Duckfeet Himmerland" shoes are in a Mary Jane Style and are available in different colours.

By the way, I like your blog very much! Thank you for all the time and work you invest in it!

It is Saturday for me in Australia and I am really happy that I managed to get three rows completed on my new portrait afghan that I am doing. There are lots of one or two stitch colour changes and Imusually make it to the end to discover I am a stitch short so have to pull it out and do it again as the colors need to be in the correct place.it is done all in greyscale colours.but today has been good. Three rows instead of the usual one,

Teresa Kasner

Your three thing are happy things. I love washi tape too and have a whole organizer of them I got at Costco. We went to a tulip farm today and came home with three bunches of them! I got some red Keen mary janes after loving your red shoes. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
