About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Вы прекрасны! Вы дарите надежду и хорошее настроение!

You always make places look so cosy and colourful! Do you have a pattern of the garland hanging over the window? - I have searched and not able to find it on your blog. It is so cheerful, I'd like to make one for my kitchen window.

Thanks for the tour, Lucy. Your new studio looks very lovely indeed and is making me slightly jealous :D Lookinf forward to seeing more! Marie xx

I pooped along to visit after seeing your blog mentioned on Crochet UK on Facevook, I had a coffee and a look around and conclude you have an amazing place to create

Absolutely beautiful, and You are like at home!!
I am looking forward to see your new réalisations in there!

What a beautiful and welcoming space! I wanted to ask about the lovely trim you have hanging above your window - is this something you have made? I am trying to make our toilet room more appealing to my daughter who is terrified of it (unfathomably!!), and this would be perfect to brighten up the window. Best of luck with the new room x

Looks great Lucy well done looking forward to all those creative colourful projects love Jenny xx

Those colours are like love hearts!! Love them!

I love the colours you use in your projects and what a lovely studio space too (I'm loving the calm blue wall). Even your stash of yarns look fab! Reading your blog always inspires me to get on and finish my own projects....I only learnt to crochet last year, so I have a long way to go to be as good as you :)

You are SOOOOO!!! fortunate to have your own little studio,it must be absolute bliss to work there.I am learning to crochet and am working on a granny blanket,it takes AGES because I keep stopping to look at the squares and say to myself I actually made those!!

What a lovely post Lucy! Your little room is just wonderful and such a fab creative space. I love that you managed to get a comfy chair by the window and the radiator, that's perfect. Mine is near neither as I felt the sewing table had to go that end but I missed the warmth in winter I can tell you. Anyway, everything looks so fab and it looks like so many great things are happening on the creative front at the moment which is so good. You are always inspiring to me! :)
