How excited was I today not only to see your post was able to again included photos - but that one of those photos was of my own wreath. What an honor. My husband came running to me as I sat at the computer exclaiming and I had to assure him that nothing was wrong and that in fact it was very all right! - how nice to see my crochet work appreciated by others. Though I'm sure your winter wreath will be a totally LUCY creation that I will fully enjoy, it's super fun to think that you scrolled around and found mine to store away with your inspiration planning. THANKS! Sher

Lucy, I love how you look at the world. It inspires me to slow down and appreciate the process, and to walk in wonder. Thank you so much for sharing yourself, and for making the world so much better!

Beth

I love your wreaths! I don't usually comment but I'm so much on the same page with you. I love bright colors but for a winter wreath I think the subdued colors you chose are perfect. I was totally inspired by your photography of nature. I love the little nests that the last wreath had and I love your idea of including a Robin or little mouse. Anyway, I can't wait to see your next lovely creation! I'm so glad you have chosen to share with us through your blog. It is truly a bright spot for me :)

Curses on you Lucy! Not only have I spent most of my precious Christmas money on Stylecraft Special, but I've also just splashed out on 10,000 Hama beads! Another consuming obsession I've found via your incredibly lovely blog. Thanks to you, this little corner of Grange-Over-Sands is shiny with woolly and beady colour! Thank you Lucy X,

June

Wow! Your blog fills me with inspiration! Your three pictured wreaths are just beautiful! I have just finished making a row of triangular granny bunting for a late Christmas present, which just look fab! Keep up the good work, can't wait to see the progress on the wreath! X

Jodi

These Drops superfine merino colours are truly amazing. I absolutely love them. Just what I like, as I am not so fond of bright colours. Well, tastes differ, of course, and that is a good thing. It makes the world more colourful :-).

Looking forward to seeing your wreath.

I've been laying on the sofa feeling sorry for myself all afternoon. This post has really cheered me up. I had already been planning projects for this year. Now I need to factor in another one!

I also have a winter wreath in the works with mostly blues and whites. I'll be anxious to see your finished product. I am sure it will be stunning just like the others you've done. And btw, I made a fall wreath after being inspired by yours and I blogged about it here, http://mykeeponkeepingon.blogspot.com/2014/09/crocheted-wreath-and-granny-bunting-for.html

It seems to be just me but I always struggle a bit with the idea of wreaths as they remind me of what you put on coffins!!! But those colourful ones are gorgeous and 'shout out 'alive'!

Meanwhile, I've been gathering quirky ideas of ways to display our children's art:

Oh Lucy I am so happy to see you back. Have to say I have missed you girlie. :) I so love all of those wreaths especially the ones with the blues, silvery and sparkley bits and bobs. I will probably make one if time permits. I look forward to seeing your wreath. I know it will be beautiful and surprising if it is a muted palette. Whatever colors you choose it will be fantastic just because you are making with lots of love and joy.
Welcome back!!

Natalie

Hi Lucy, Just recently discovered your blog & ♥ your posts. Glad you are back! I've got a small polystyrene ring and feeling inspired to maybe have a go. Thinking of using felt. Can't wait to see what you do with yours. Natalie x

I love what I'm seeing! I once did a winter wreath with silvery blues, and frosty greens...it's long gone, but as I recall, it was very attractive. I feel inspired.
