About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Hope you feel better soon. Thank you so much for the generous gift of your gorgeous photo. I too am counting the days until they start to get longer again.

I hope your cold disappears soon. I'm looking forward to Spring too - I am very pleased to see the daffodils popping through the lawn. :) x

I have been following your blog for a couple of years now and find it such an inspiration. I love your friendly, chatty comments and instructions. How generous of you to share so much. Take care, get well soon (in time for Christmas) and have a wonderful time with your family.

I so look forwards to your blog ........... it is always so beautifully photographed and homely at the same time. Where abouts do you live as it is so pretty? I am so jealous of your views. Living in a city it is hard to find such unspoilt places. You have a way with words that *take me* with you on your wanderings. You are spurring me on to try and learn to crochet though I can knit anything :D Thank you and a very happy christmas to you and yours x

Beautiful card Lucy and so generous sharing it for us to use. Hope your manage to win the battle with those pesky germs soon. I swear by using root ginger grated in homemade honey and lemon drink. If you can stand it try chewing the ginger! Fantastic stuff! The Christmas pics look great. Hope you enjoy a very special time with your family for Christmas. Merry Christamas Lucy and wishing you a very happy New year. Thanks for all your great blogs during the year and look forward to many more to come!

I was thinking the other day about Little B and the snow, and the look of extreme relief afterwards to be HOME and OUT of his snowsuit and AWAY from the snow! I was only 8 weeks along with TTB then, it's crazy how time flies. Will pop up this week with a card for you guys xxx

That is the cutest little pie I have ever seen, oh my goodness! I finally learned what is actually in a mince pie over the weekend, and I'm not sure if it's something that would be delicious or not, but the little one you have here looks like it would be amazing!

Your cards turned out lovely! I enjoy seeing the ones most people make with their family on the front and whatnot, but yours is changing my mind on that!! It is adorable beyond belief! So glad they turned out for you!
