This reminds me of childhood days spent with my grandparents in yorkshire, beautiful.

Catherine

Fab photos Lucy. So good to get away from the frenetic preparation for Christmas for a short time and relax in the fresh air. Keep enjoying the company of your kids. They grow up and leave so quickly.

Michelle

So pretty! There's a lovely palette for a stripey blanket in that first photo!

Patti Cahl

Lucy,
Thank you for taking us along on your beautiful walk....I think I feel refreshed now - almost as if I've experienced the countryside along with you!

Hoping you and your family enjoy a Beautiful, Blessed and very Merry Christmas season! You so deserve it!

Darlene Garner

I soooooo love your beautiful pictures. It's like a little geography lesson of where you live. It is so different from the desert I live in (Arizona). Keep the pictures coming!

Laurie Ryan

Green? You still have green? I am in Colorado,USA and we have had some sunny days with temps almost 70F but it's still Brown!

I just love the color of the sky this time of year! A lovely outing, precious time together and so fleeting, enjoy. We've had several grey days here as well but at least they were dry, so I did enjoy the warm day outside stringing up Christmas lights and cleaning sticks from the yard, after recent windy days. I really need to rake leaves, maybe tomorrow if the weather holds. ; ) Have a great week Lucy! x

Thank you for taking me on your lovely walk. Family is the meaning of life, with crochet a close second. I'm looking forward to travelling to England in a year or two, for a few months. Cheers from sunny Brisbane.

Beautiful blue skies. It's cold here in Norway but mild for this time of year.

Rebecca Humphries

thank you for your wonderful pictures. You have a gift with the camera as well with your hook. Keep it up, I love to see what your making and where in your cute town you have been.

What a beautiful light, like liquid gold! And sailing, sigh. Just watching sailboats in motion makes me feel relaxed, like watching snow fall or flames burn. I envy you your bare ground: going for a walk here today means quite a struggle through heavy, wet snow that has frozen to a crust but not a crust hard enough to walk on, alas. The difference in the light between your post today and mine is intense: I had to increase the exposure on every shot to offset the grey dim. Thanks for sharing the beauty.

Beautiful photos as always Lucy. Yesterday was indeed an amazing change to the rest of the week. Thank you for sharing your family day. Xx

I love your walks!!!! I really envy they places you have to walk. Here where I am on the Gulf Coast of Texas Im pretty much stuck with beaches and cotton fields...and since we cant trespass, fields are out and the beach here isnt long enough :)Keep right on walking and posting !!!!

Gorgeous Lucy!

Your country is so beautiful! I live in Michigan, US and it has been kind of weird, it was really cold (below freezing) then it got warm and rained, now today it is cold again and everything is frozen. Glad you got to spend some time outdoors!

Jacqui Olsey

is this Embsay? We It looks very familiar. We walked there when we came up to Skipton for Yarndale

Claire

A most welcome glimpse of sunshine, it's been very grey here today... x

Lucy, Lucy, Lucy. All your pictures are stunning as always, but the one of what I am guessing is LB (Spiderman), Yourself (Rainbow) and LL(striped with the bows) legs /feet in your wellies just really touched me to the point of getting a tear or two. I can just see all three of you standing together with the sun at your backs making those shadows so very long...........What wonderful memories! Thanks for sharing.

much love,
aliceg
