I just spent an hour uploading a load of photos to tell you all about how busy I am right now and the work I've been busy doing. It was all very busy! Colourful, and crochet laden, but work, work, work. I looked at the photos and honestly didn't really feel like writing the words, so instead I've spent another half an hour uploading random happy-pics from the past week or so. Snaps of ordinary life that have happened in between the mountains of work.
♥ A family walk on a grey Sunday around the reservoir, with geese flying over.
♥ The view from the Attic, with a delicious little patch of mellow sunlight creeping in.
♥ My back yard as seen from my bedroom window.
♥ The first bunch of dahlias from the market (yaaay, dahlias are back!!!)
♥ Sunday baking.
♥ Sitting in my back yard, working for hours on my Yarndale yarn signs. Hours.
♥ Blue sky overhead, the sound of early Sunday morning church bells and the jackdaws chattering to each other on the rooftops.
♥ A posy of flowers from my pots....
♥....now beside my bed making me happy morning and night.
So Yarndale happens this coming weekend, and I am mad-mental busy preparing for it. If I get chance to add some words to my busy-busy crochet photo post I will do that tomorrow and share. If not, I shall see a good many of you at Yarndale I hope, and the rest of you will hear from me next week when it is all done and dusted. Soon, my life will settle again. Soon.

Very best of luck with Yarndale Lucy. You have worked so hard and I am sure it will be a huge success. Best wishes to you X

Of course you had to tell everybody you bought something. I don't know if you realise that some people just can't afford even the simplest bunch of flowers from the market or elsewhere. Your "simple pleasures" are the equivalent of a meal on the table for others.

Hoping that you enjoy Yarndale and that the weather will stay fair for all your visitors. It all sounds so exciting and I'm hoping to make it next year - do make sure there's a next year, please!! Lovely photos and I'm sure all your work will be much appreciated. Good luck.

Hang in there Lucy! I think we all understand if you just don't have enough energy to write long wordy posts right now. It will all be worth it when the dust has settled in a couple of weeks' time. Yarndale will be fantastic - I am so excited - had an email from the lady running one of my workshops this evening, and I've been happily browsing 'tinternet in anticipation of a great weekend.
Those flowers are all gorgeous. And the cakes look pretty scrumptious too!

Hi Lucy,
Cannot quite grasp just HOW busy you will be this week on top of all the other build up work but how brilliant that so many of us get the chance to 'do it all again'' and many more will do it for the first time.
So looking forward to Saturday. Am only visiting for one day this year but, like many of us out here, wish you and the team all the luck for a second wonderful achievement.
Memorable experiences will be itching to grab us one and all, whatever our ''role'' on the day/s. Take care and savour it as we all will.
And thank you for another year of compulsive blogs.

Oh my! I can't believe Yarndale is THIS WEEKEND already!! It seems just a week ago that I was reading about the very first Yarndale, complete with enormous amounts of lovely bunting and beautiful yarn bombings =) I hope (and know!) that it all will go brilliantly and smoothly.
Then I hope you will go spend a relaxed day with some hot liquid and comfy cushions to savor all the memories I know you'll make (and then of course show us loads of photos!!) :)
