Your blog is a joy to read - always! I don't crochet, but love seeing all your projects. I have told many ladies I know that crochet, to check out your blog!

Thanks for the tutorial Lucy! Your Bower Bird's so adorable ♡♡♡

Thank you!!!

Carolyn Jackson

Hi Lucy, Thank you and J so much for such a great pattern, I was able to print out the pattern and watch on my tablet as well and I am thrilled to be able to say a bower bird has now landed at my place and has pride of place sitting atop several crochet blankets, he has also been photographed. !! Thankyou for all your hard work.
Cheers from NZ Carolyn.

Thank you! I've been looking forward to this pattern so much - thanks to your other half as well for pdf-ing it :)

Just love your birds :-)

Oh my word, sooooo excited. I can't wait to start this little bird, the ironing pile is definitely going to have to wait 😀😀😀😀. Thank you so much, I have learnt such a lot since following you and feel totally inspired x

WOW! Fantastic Lucy - 35 pages of Heaven!
I'm off to peruse & have a cuppa.

Thanks soooo much Lucy!! You are one fabulous Lady. I shall have no time to make this now the summer hols are looming but will await this make in September when the post holiday blues tend to hit! Am shouting you a coffee or two by way of thanks for your generosity ;o) J9 x

A big thank you Lucy. I appreciate the hours you give to doing things like this. Jo :-)

Love the Bower Birds. Will certainly download the PDF when it's ready. I will have to learn how to crochet in order to make it but learning that craft is on my list. Just now I'm working on learning to knit.

I love your blog Lucy, as does my sister.
Looking at the array of birds I realize it would be a fabulous way to represent our beautiful Australian parrots. The royal blue and crimson, for example, is the Crimson Rosella to a tee! Louise, Queensland, Australia

thankyou so much Lucy for the bower bird pattern. My clever other half helped to print off the relevant pages. As you say the whole post printoff would just about be a book. Off now in the hot hot hot spanish weather to make my first birdie. I plan to make a flock of them and hang them from my shady fig tree, each with a bell attatched to bring me joy when I sit out of the sun Lots of love F.

Thank you, Lucy! :)

thank you, Lucy.

Thank you, Lucy! You have an amazing generous spirit. You are spreading so much crochet goodness around the world. That is powerful!

Squee, Yay and Hugs to you! Thank you so much. I am so excited to try this! Your work is creative and inspiring, and your generosity is wonderful. Words cannot express how grateful I am not just for the Bower bird, but for all that you do. I know J and the Little People must be quite proud.

p.s. My mandala did not make it to Yarndale this year, but my prayers and good wishes are still with you.:)

Thank you for sharing Lucy, I have not started mine yet but plan to make some at the weekend.
best wishes

Thank you Lucy for your generosity and hard work. I won't be able to start a Bower Bird until next week when the school holidays start, but I'm already planning colour combinations - can't wait! x

You deserve an award for services to crochet - a CBE, MBE or maybe we'll just make you a Dame!

Thank you SOOOO much for sharing your pattern, I can't wait to make my own bower bird!

Amanda from the US

Hi Lucy! Thank you for sharing your creativity and your life with all of us out here. Your pictures of England are beautiful. I've been twice but never to your neck of the woods. I have been crocheting all my life. When I happened upon your blog I had a life-changing "duh" moment. The colors! The colors! It was one of those moments when the obvious smacks you right in the head!! Your blog has gotten me out of the acrylic-blah-Vanna-White-ripple-afghan rut I've been in. Already, I've whipped out a Garden Granny Square blanket for my granddaughter, a Jolly Bag, and yesterday two Bower Birds. Thank you! Enjoy some coffee on me. Wish I were there to share it with you!

Yay,thank you so much for sharing this pattern, I can't wait to try it. I've recently made one of your little birdies to hang up and it was so much fun. Making these birds may well become my holiday project...
