About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

I've been in all day today and feeling more than slightly cranky (hormones and driving rain). Gah!

I shall just sit here awhile and take deep breaths of vicarious pleasure if you don't mind …

Th light is so perfect this time of year when the sun shines, lovely pics

The boyfriend just looked over my shoulder and drooled over the sailing ship pictures! There are certainly some great areas in the UK! Ijust booked a advent holiday in Stockholm but I reckon the UK should be a holiday goal in one of the next years too...

Take care

A Frugal Wife

We're North of the Border so no holiday for us this week. Boo. But I won't whinge (too much) since the weather has been well & truly rotten. So it's very nice to see blue skies, all be it on your blog and not outside! This looks a lovely walk with a little bit of everything thrown in for good measure. Perfect. Enjoy your staycation. Summer will be here before you know it.

I love how perfect the blue and green are as a backdrop to those bright sails! Lovely corner of Yorkshire you have there :)
