Hello!

About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Wow, look at all those mandalas! Your life certainly looks rather beautiful as of late. ^-^

Eli

It's amazing to read something so full of delight and little life pleasures while having breakfast. Such a great beginning of a day. Thank you!

kathleen Solomi

We crochet girls look to you for our inspiration . I love those mandalas
Where can we find the pattern , please

emily

I simply adore your "happy" posts. We have been having a string of dreary days here, and your beautiful photos put a bit of sunshine in my day.

JR

I can't quite see my mandala in the picture but have seen it on The Pinterest page. I enjoyed making it!

Lizzy

Howdy from far off. I wanted to send along some mandala love but YIKES, mine is 8 and 3/4 inches- how strict is the 8 inch guideline? If it is, i'll have to dive back into my scraps for some more transmigrating with color.... Thanks for this lovely project. SO much fun to see all the color and stitch variations from the greater Attic24 world. Binges of eye candy!

Kate

Rubbish weather here AGAIN today- your post has reminded me that it can be lovely,sometimes.....

Malama Xida

I may have rewrote Lucy ,pictures with your traveling! Also you can send and I mandala from Greece; If yes, in address has said?

Millay

Please post a picture of your coastal ripple - what a lovely combination of colours.
I read your blog almost every day - think I'm a little addicted!

Caz

Umm, I'm with you on the cherries, latte and salads.... oh, and the crochet too, of course. Look forward to seeing your latest ripple finished

Oh the cherries! I keep seeing them for sale at the roadside stands and I haven't bought any yet. Perhaps this weekend.

Looking forward to the Mandala update. I think it's neat to see so many people from far away come together for something like that. :)

Pat

Lovely post Lucy!

Goedenmorgen,
The snail made laugh. My children make snail circus's every year.
The snails are given my lettce's, tomatoe or cucumber, very happy snails.
A wonderful life WE leed indeed.
Have a nice day Lucy.😄

PricklyPatti

Mandala Heaven is beautiful! Two more coming from AZ by this weekend.

Love the retro fabrics in AdaBeal's cushion - my Mum had kitchen curtains in the gold floral one. A very popular fabric in the 1960s.....

Lan Succi

What beautiful photos, Lucy. In my old house had a tree with these yellow flowers. Here in Brazil is called "Cassia Imperial".
What a privilege to live in a place so beautiful. Each season has a lot of precious things.
Congrats

I really do know I'm losing my mind now, because I leaned over my keyboard to smell the vase of stocks and wondered why they didn't smell of anything! Oh dear. It was just such a convincing photograph! I love your pictures, Lucy, they bring joy to my day.

folksmith

love all of the Mandala's you are receiving. what a beautiful sight to see. i will have to give them a try.

Emma

Hip hip hurrah! Oh the smell of stocks - it's so reminiscent of my Grandad's garden, where I grew to love plants and learned to grow them.

That image of the mandalas is heaven for the eyes.

Ali Dufty

Beautiful images . Happy days :)

Thank you for sharing the lovely photos of Skipton in May, this is my favourite time of year next to autumn. The mandalas look fab (I think I must get on with making my Yarndale contribution) and your flip flops look very jolly. Looking forward to hearing more about your mandala story :-) Love Jo xx

Pat

I love when you post the seasons from your window!
My Aztec Dazzle Mandala is winging its way to you from South Africa, fingers crossed that it reaches you in time .. our postage system can sometimes be a little naughty! The pinterest page of Mandalas is amazing .... it's going to be wonderful display, can't wait to see pics!
