Studio work/play this morning....this is Stylecraft Special DK, a yarn I really love and am very familiar with now. With 59 gorgeous colours to play with there are always lots of new ideas coming and going, my Creative Mind is absolutely brimming over with it all right now. The excitement I feel when I am working/playing with colour is immense, I've been on a high all day and now I need to try and calm down enough to sleep. I love my life!

I love how you are able to put such fun colors together. I told my other half about the packs that are for sale at Wool Warehouse and that they send to the US. He is a enabler of the highest degree and asked why I hadn't ordered them yet. I can't wait to get my yarn now. Thank you again for all the lovely things that you do here. It is such an inspiration on many levels.
Cheers

I just love my stylecraft yarn, too. Will you be releasing the pattern for the bird your group made? It is just wonderful.

You totally inspire me to be brave with colour. It began for me with your stripey bag and from there I have not looked back on adding colour to our home. This week I took a HUGE leap of colour and painted my furniture. Pop over to see my new look crochet corner. Let me know what you think. http://eclectichomelife.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/injecting-splash-of-colour-to-our-home.html?m=1

Your colour combos are a joy to behold! Looks like even you can't find a place for the jaffa orange. Any suggestions - give it away perhaps? Thanks for spreading the inspiration. Mairi

I like the colours, but I'm not so happy using acrylic. What is your favourite wool or cotton yarn, please? Love your designs.

What's there better then colour?! :-) I like the Stylecraft Yarn (even though I like cotton better) and I really wish it would be sold in the shops here in Germany! Right now I need to order it from GB but I would love to see the real colours beforehand or buy some yarn while in town... Oh, well...
Enjoy your colourplay!!
Take care,
Anne

So much pleasure and enjoyment from such tiny yarn samples. It's amazing the effect that colour can have on a person's mood. It's even more amazing how getting the right combinations can add to that, as if you are putting all the pieces of an unknown puzzle together in the right order, and bingo!! I haven't written anything on colour for ages Lucy - you have inspired me to get going on something this weekend! :)

I love the colours but not so keen on it being acrylic. It keeps the price down and is practical for kids things but when I am making for myself I prefer the merinos or cottons.

Great colours. How do you feel about it being 100% acrylic?

Oh what a joy to play / work with all those colours and yarns. Loving that folder with the rectangular colour swatches. Can any old member of the public get these sheets/ folders? Like you I too have started to make my own yarn swatches by sticking bunches of yarn onto card and naming and coding them. Thank you Lucy for your continuing wonderfulness!!
