About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Your posts are always a riot of colour and such a feast for the eyes! I just pop in for a treat every couple of days, it's like sitting at a window admiring someone else's view! x

It looks just beautiful. Best wishes from Barcelona.

I love your holiday posts.
Repeating , repeating that,s what children want , I saw that with my son and now with my grandson .
Doiing the same walk , sitting near the lake and threwing little stones in the water , visiting the mill , enjoying a sandwich and some drink just outside , such a pleasure to have him around and a second one is on her/his way in october.
So expiring the same mood as I visit my childhood surroundings and a few years ago I spend a day in Lyme with my husband , wonderful memory and nice to see your pictures. Love it!

What a lovely post :)
You should holiday on the Isle of Wight some day. Gorgeous coast amd countryside :) x

How beautiful! How absolutely delightful! (Both the pictures and the words.)

We have been returning to our special place near Padstow for over 30 years, we started going before children and now at their ages 30, 24 and 22 they still have to be with us, doing what we always do and being with the same people for our special week. Our 30 year old lives down there but is still talking of staying in the caravan with us whilst we are there. The 22 year old is very disappointed as he will have to miss this year due to his finals at uni. I know that it these 'same' holidays that will never ever be forgotten.

WOW,more Stunning pics, why don't mine ever look like that lol.Brought back memories of our visits to Dorset, just Beautiful. It is pouring down here lol.By the way Lucy have just given you a shout out on my blog.Happy Easter.x

Another lovely post Lucy, and like us in Wasdale you had glorious spring weather (for the main part!). Precious family times, I haven't been to that part of Dorset but will make sure we get there sometime on one of our caravan trips maybe!! K.xx
