About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

You are a really lovely lady :-) ... can't wait for the ta-dah .... hurry up tomorrow!! xx lots of love Joy xx

The chair is beautiful - second the vote for just a cushion! Glad (but not surprised) that the workshop went well. It looks as though you all had a lovely day!

Ooh Lucy cannot wait. As soon as I saw the blue skies today I did wonder if you might photograph the poncho. I too have had a fab time out of doors, do pop over and see, would love you to... http://eclectichomelife.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/london-and-crocheted-bag.html?m=1

Well done on your first workshop Lucy. I just know the ladies would go home so, so happy about their time with you and the inspiration they gained from being under your very talented instruction. I hope to manage to one of your workshops in the not so distant future. My husband & I just love Yorkshire, particularly your area and especially Kettlewell. So, hopefully I can arrange a break in Yorkshire to fit in with one of your workshops. Meantime, any chance of circles scarf tutorial on the horizon? Annette

Oh Lucy, that chair is too gorgeous to smother in yarn! One of your lovely cushions sat on it would go with your lamp just as well. It's so nice to read about a Happy Monday - thank you

Just found your blog a couple months ago and have been catching up on the archives while also thoroughly enjoying each new blog post. such a bright and cheerful way for me to spend a few minutes each day! I love all the inspiration and have been crocheting like mad since becoming a reader. One small baby blanket (third little one due in a few weeks for us!), a heart banner for my eldest daughter above her bed, booties as a baby gift and bright colorful mittens for myself! Love crochet and am loving your blog! Can't wait for the poncho ta-da!!

So glad the workshop was a blast, we all knew it would be, congrats. :))We should call you little red riding hood, with that rocking coat and boots, and a spotty red tote too. ;) Wow, what a little trooper of a marigold! Love the daffies, a fave of mine, sure a cheery flower. Super, a ta-dah coming, yay! The chair will be grand I'm sure look forward to that as well, AND the winter wreath! I'm intrigued.. the colors...yum. Till tomorrow then.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So pleased for you! Looking forward to the Tah-Dah!

What a glorious walk to school you and the children have. I love those little birds - want to make some too but live way down south so no way I could make one of your fun workshops. Good luck with more of those.
Looking forward to tomorrow's exciting pictures! x

You definitely had the loveliest of days Lucy!!! Thanks for sharing your colorful life, it's so joyful.

Congratulations on the success of your 1st workshop Lucy. Love your pictures of the canal. I'm hankering after a break in Skipton very soon :)
