Very beautiful. Love your work, tutorials, and blog.

Absolutely luscious Lucy.!! Love how generously you share you and your projects with us.

Why not write up the homey poncho pattern..... and then charge for it. It would certainly be worth it! Your time and creative genius has value, and can be monetarily rewarded.

We would be rewarded by being able to make one from your pattern.

So amazingly wonderfully colorful and cozy looking! I can tell that you just love it and that is awesome.

A lovely darling poncho, the edging is awesome and I love all the little eyelets and especially the flowers. It's wonderful!
The haircut is cute, too :-)

Ohhhhh soooo lovely! I just want to hug all those yummy scrummy colours! Well done Lucy :)

Homely...is not the word that comes to mind to describe that beauty!!! Lucy's snuggly rainbow perhaps. ;)Bravo! It's totally you, and so cheery, love it. I've made many granny stripe ones over the years and received them from family, but yours rock them all! Cool edging, and the flower tie too. Thanks for dashing about for the photos to share, lol, love the hair cut too.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I LOVE everything about this poncho. EvERyTHinG!!! You are a rockstar!!

The Poncho is stunning and it suits you beautifully. You should be right proud of yourself----for the pinning and blocking alone!!

Well, this is certainly delightful and I am ever so glad you modeled it for us. Thank you for loving us enough to do so. I don't know why you would keep this at home. :) It's the perfect first picnic of the season poncho. Once again, you nailed it, Lucy! ~Kelly

I know you have called this poncho 'homely' because you only intend to wear it at home, but there is nothing 'homely' about it!! It is a zingy stripefest of colour that needs to be seen by all. Lovely work! Also, re the steam iron blocking, someone suggested this method to me for some chain lattice crochetwork that I have used to make a scarf recently (and it really needs to be blocked in some way). I will definitely try this method now :)

Beautiful, Lucy!

WOW, Lucy, that's just gorgeous!!

that is just so beautiful!! It looks so warm and snuggly. I can imagine Little B pulling it around himon your lap. :) I love the details, the flowers, flat bobbles. For a pattern I think all you'd need to write up is your starting chain count, when the first V's come in, the repeat pattern {2 rows trc, 1 row 1 trc+1ch+skip stitch}, the flowers, and bobbles. :) The math works itself out I imagine. :) Lovely!!

Lovely, just like a lovely, cosy, colourful blanket but more user-friendly for wearing cos blankets slip off!! x

Well, you've proved me wrong, Lucy. When you said you were crocheting a poncho, and when I saw the beginning of the project, I thought it was going to look seriously dowdy. But, Oh My Gosh, it's fabulous! And it looks stunning on you! I will always believe everything you say from now on. You are the Crochet Goddess!

Truly gorgeous! This is proper colour therapy :) It's put a smile on my face after a very so-so day! Thank you, Lucy!!!

Wow! Just wow! I love it and you look just lovely wearing it. I'm seriously at a loss for words it's so beautiful. someday if I have time and you do up a pattern, this is a must-make for me. Thanks for sharing!

As always you have outdone yourself yet again, what a cheerful bit of cozy loveliness. Thanks for sharing!!
