Lucy,
I've just posted a picture of my wreath on Facebook. You should be able to see it here:
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10203166363429548&set=a.10202917390925391.1073741826.1521463180&type=1&theater
Hope you like it...you ARE my inspiration!
Instead of crocheted wings, I added feathers to the bird...sort of like the way he looks...very proud of his plumage!
Already planning on color range for my Fall Wreath....which hubby has decided I must do!
Am looking through your patterns - I need to do a couple of pillows for sofa....the Blooming Pillow is definitely on the agenda....have to see what else...3 or 4 of those might just be overdone!
Thanks again for your endless inspiration. You are a Gift to us, Lucy...
God bless!

Lucy,
Thank you. So warm and cozy. Little B looks so content. I wish my Bumper could sit still like that!

Good evening at least it is here, smiling, a quiet time. I live in the country and my home is small but I like it this way. My oldest daughter, Sue, lives with me here. All the different things I enjoy doing, I was able to get my daughter to learn to crochet. She has made several afghans, for various ones in the family. I find it very peaceful either crocheting in the evening or knitting. I learned from my granddaughter, Alanna, how to get on Pinterest, and this is where I came across your Jolly Festive Bunting, I am looking forward to making a sign for my granddaughter, Hailee, she is going to be 12 tomorrow, 1/22/14. I hope your days be many and happy , thank you for letting me ramble for a little. Nite, God bless you and your family.

Thank you Lucy! I just adore the cozy images!
How old is little B now? He is writing already?
My Bumper is still working on sitting still.
Warm Wishes and post-Holiday Blessings to you and your family.

Dear Lucy, I want so very much to learn to crochet. Can you recommend a way to get started that would be simple and rewarding? My mother and grandmothers all did beautiful crochet work. Not a one ever offered to teach me and now they are passed on. Would love to make some of your designs that you post. Help me get there!

One of my New Year's resolutions was to stop lurking on blogs I love but instead, to comment and tell the blogger how much I enjoy visiting with them.
I love your blog, Lucy! Your beautiful photos of home, landscape and hooky goodness, along with your gentle, real-life commentary soothes my soul. Yours is the England I remember from my visits (to a dear aunt--now gone on ahead--nr Doncaster).
Thanks for doing what you do; all the best to you and yours for 2014.

You are successful in creating a nice cozy family environment. I hope you enjoy it. I made the bread. It is wonderful and we are waiting to bake the second loaf! Thank you for a wonderful gift.
