Down the street and turn right, admire the view....
walk slowly up the steep, steep hill....
past that lovely house.....
stopping to talk to the chickens....
who seem happy in the warm afternoon sunshine....
continue strolling in the sun-dappled shade....
scrunching in the dry leaves....
following the woodland path high above the beck....
the still water reflects the trees perfectly....
so peaceful and picture perfect....
but we keep on walking as our time is running out....
holding hands as we chatter and walk....
enjoying the earthy, damp scent of the woodland....
and the glorious warmth as we emerge into the sunshine....
we are alongside the canal now, striding along so we won't be late....
it seems a shame to hurry, but Little Lady will be waiting for us at school....
ah, that's better, we are slowly ambling homewards now....
the three of us making our way along our familiar stretch....
and home.
The End.

Picture-perfect indeed! You certainly have a BEAUTIFUL homeland! ;) Also, I didn't comment on your "Cosy" post, but I of course thought it was absolutely lovely, as everyone else stated. I especially loved the sofa picture- I'm looking forward to filling my couch with crochet goodness- I'm working on a patchwork blanket (using your color pack ;) ), and a ripple. Oh how I love the ripple!! Your pattern's amazing!!! I'm using James C. Brett Cotton On, inspired by your cosy neck warmer! I do want to make the neck warmer someday soon, too. Okay, well, I'll stop rambling now!!

I've been watching a show set in a small town in England. It always makes me think of you.

You live in a wonderful place I am a little bit jealous I must be honest. Living in Den Haag, where nature is like Gold Dust, it seems like you live in the pot at the end of the rainbow. Lovely Walk to School and Back, thank you for inviting us.
