About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Oh, it looks like so much fun! I so wish I could pop in and meet you and see your studio in person, but the trek is a bit long and expensive from beautiful West Michigan! Have a great time!!

Miriam van Wieringen

Good Luck!
I wanted so much to be there, but I can't make it. Luckily my triangles are hanging there somewhere...

Wish I could be there! Wishing you a fabulous time from Ohio; can't wait for your beautiful pictures of the event. And, btw, I meant to comment before on how darling your poster is!

It all looks so exciting, I so wish I could be there. I'm only in Leeds so it isn't far, but my son leaves for uni this weekend so I'm unable to come. I do hope there's another Yarndale next year, I'll definitely be at that if there is.

Oh Lucy, have the best weekend - I wish I could be there - I will be in spirit - Australia is just a bit too far away!!! The picture of the bunting brought tears to my eyes, just knowing that my little pile of triangles is there at Yarndale is amazing, if I can't be there I'm so glad something I made is. I'm off to get my bit of England now by watching escape o the country - my favorite tv show! XxBrenda

How exciting!! I'm really looking forward to "seeing" Yarndale through your blog! All the bunting looks fantastic, as well. I was thrilled to see one of my triangles on the table! ;)

This weekend I am going to surround myself with yarn and that way, in addition to the bunting I made, be a part of lovely ♥Yarndale♥ from all the way up here in Norway. I am sure it will be a giant success and I wish you GOOD LUCK, Lucy, Yarndale Team, all the exhibitors and all the visitors! Have an absolutely smashing time! Very excitedly looking forward to the tales and the photos! Be sure now to take a breather after ♥♥♥

It's looking wonderful! Such a shame I can't come but I am sure I will get a good feel of it with all the photos! Good Luck Lucy and the Yarndale Team! Hope it all goes smoothly for you <3

So wish I could be there in wonderful Skipton. Long way from Cornwall. Hoping someone with a video camera or phone can walk from the station to the venue to show those who cannot be there how it all looks. Have a fab time all.

I am SO super EXciTEd for Yarndale! First leg of the journey tonight, then the final 3 hours up tomorrow. Be with you around lunchtime! Save a spot in the knit and natter cafe for me :)

THANK YOU a million for all the hard work you've put into it all, can't wait to see it all come together in one big woolly extravaganza!

OMG, so looking forward to seeing all the pics all the way from the other side of the globe, here in Australia. Lovely job on the bunting, must be an amazing team of ladies to string all those together...

Have a wonderful time! It all looks totally fabulous!

Oh I'm so incredibly excited for you all. I would have come but I'm teaching here over the weekend. Such a shame and a sad clash of calendars. All the most marvellous woolly wishes to you. I expect it will go swimmingly. I know so many people who are coming along.

Oh and I've been tweeting away about Yarndale and the wonderful Oxfam project...
