About Me

  • Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. Like those powerful and overwhelmingly wonderful feelings following the exuberant birth of a child.... I get it!!!! And when the time is right You will settle into place where words once again can be found and we will graciously wait and enjoy with You at that time!!! Kudos to You Lucy Bravo!!!! xoxox

All that creativity intermingled with hard work- a heady mix! I am looking forward to your next post :)

Hi Lucy! Greetings from Knoxville, TN U.S.A. I am sitting on pins and needles! Can't wait to hear all about the studio and your first night. I having been following you for about a year and a half. I learned to crochet about that same time. It brings me such joy. I have often had similar thoughts of a shop myself and I am thrilled for you. I also have a three year old! Lots of luck on your new adventure.

I think we tend to underestimate the emotional tole events can take! So glad it went well...enjoy your quiet(er) time!

Enjoy life Lucy, i worry you take on too much and we all know you so well now that we see the peaks and troughs.....we all have them so just take some time out if things seem too much. x

so glad your day went well. Was just wondering if you have sorted out an address to send the bunting to?

Anne Marie

Can't wait to see them. Wish I'd just jumped in my Landy rather than train and just come along!

Hi Lucy, so pleased it all went well. Really looking forward to your post.It all looked amazing in Heathers post about the preview.

I'm happy that it went well for you! I'm not happy that I couldn't make it, I didn't realize what day it was on until too late :(

Would have loved to have popped over to Yorkshire for your open studio, but it was not to be.
What camera do you use for your fantastic pictures? I really want to find a pocket sized wonder to take out & about all the time. My proper camera is too big to lug around, what with changes of clothing and snacks for a 3 year old!!

Am looking forward to the pictures and your story when you are ready. You are so inspiring. As I have told you before - you help me get through my days here at my stressful job - but take care of yourself first. When I finally find a house to buy I think I am going to create an "Attic" corner with a little table like you have in your studio where I can do my crochet - in your honor. Big hugs!!

Hi I wish I could have visited you, I check in to your blog regularly and love to read about you and your family it gives me a real boost in my busy stressed out life :0) so glad you are feeling happy after the past few days and hope your finger is continuing to improve :0)

Will be waiting for the photos and post.
Lots of hugs !!

Glad it was so enjoyable. Sorry I couldn't make it after all. I was pretty fed up about it.

Your colors are always such an inspiration!

So glad it all went well. Looking forward to seeing the pictures and hearing the skinny.

Nawww, Lucy! I am SO glad it went so well! I was thinking of you on Saturday. If I lived closer (like not in another country - hahaha!) I would have been there in a flash. But I am looking forward to living vicariously through your photographs. See you when you float back down again xxx
