About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Finally!!!!! great news!!!!
thank you Lucy, xxxxx Ale

Love you blog and all your creativeness! Congrats also on the new studio - very fun!! I'm ready to embark on a blanket project and was wondering if you can recommend a yarn the will wear well LONG TERM. I found a washable merino here in the US and after 9 months, the hat is fuzzy/pilly, so I really don't want to go with that. Thanks

So excited to ba part of the Bunting project. I have a few made but now that the deadline has been moved out I will be able to hook a few more. I am currently working an a Yarn Bombing event(July 20th) at a local Aboretum in Illinois. So as soon as that is up and booming I will start on more bunting.

I hope there is more of us from NZ joining in this cause. If not I will try my best to represent. I truly wish I could go to Yarndale but alas the budget wouldn't stretch that far. Sigh...oh well bunting hooking it will have to be! I look forward to seeing LOADS of photos of the amazing weekend and everyone's bunting efforts.

When I said blur I meant blue xx

Can I use chunky weight yarn? I have some bright blur I would like to use x

All wrapped up and ready to wend their way from Brackley! I hope Skipton is ready for this!!

Bravo to all!! No matter the time..we knew the address the coming;))) Now relax my love while you can before you are inundated!!!! As I so stupidly said earlier I wish there was some way I could help you chain them together. My need for that came for how much you have given me. One day I will explain. Until then...xo

Hooray! I want to do up a couple more, then they will be on their way! I'm sure this was a pain to organize, but what a brilliant solution! I hope it hasn't been too much of a hassle for you. Thanks for the great idea!

I'm just about to dig out my stash and get hooking - myself, my partner, my Mum and my wee babby are all excited to be coming - if we EVER get round to booking a room to stay in that is, since we live FAR South!

Bunting heading your way from Miton, Ontario, Canada! I rather like them...i might have to make more!

No need to apologize Lucy! I for one am just happy it all worked out in the end and that I can now get my little stack shipped off to you. Like many others I am certain you will be absolutely flooded with bunting triangles from all over the world :)

Am sadly not able to attend the event, but I am looking *oh* so much forward to following the whole thing online.

All the best and happiest thoughts,

Kristina in Sweden.

PS: hooray for Heather and Jane!

Thanks, have been waiting for this. I've 10 pennants to send to you. All the best! Anne.
