Lots of sightings of bunting triangles in Blogland and Flickrville recently, which is marvellous. You can see some of the triangles in the Yarndale 2013 Flickr group, which rather excitingly has more than 80 members already. Many heartfelt thanks to all of you who are making these for me and spreading the word about it too.
I have applied for a PO Box address which should take about a week to be processed. I will of course let you know as soon as I have the address for you to send them to.
#2 :: The Studio ::
Tracy and I have set a date for our first Open Studio Event ::
Saturday 29th June : 10am - 4pm.
For those of you who live within traveling distance of the Attic, you are welcome to come and visit us. The idea is to keep it very informal, we just want to welcome people to our studio and give you chance to have a peek at what we are up to.Tracy has been working very hard and there will be a fabulous selection of her handmade goodies for sale.
I plan on having lots of my crochet there, but won’t be selling anything, just chatting and doing a little bit of hooky.
Bring a project along, grab a fabulous coffee and some delicious homemade cake and have fun in our colourful, creative space!
I am packing up a few bits and pieces this afternoon with a cool bag of food and we are off to spend a couple of days in our beloved caravan. The sky is blue, the sun is shining and we are all really looking forward to a weekend of outdoor relaxation. As you can see, Connievan is looking good in her new home and I can't wait to tell you all about it on Monday.
With much love to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I am so excited about your studio open day - I will be there! I might bring my bunting for yarn dale with me!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your studio looks so colourful and cosy, particularly this stash of colourful yarn under the window is very compelling for someone who likes crocheting and knitting like me. I really love your selection of colours. Hey, Lucy, I've crocheted more than ten bunting triangles by now. What do you say? Today I sat on my terrace in the warm sun after I had come home from a busy day out and got very peaceful and content while crocheting those triangles.
Have a nice time in Connievan.

Glad you have lots of triangles on the way. I'd love to visit your studio, but I'm too far away here in S. Gloucestershire; I don't think I would be allowed out for that long! Hope it all goes well, I'm sure everyone will have a wonderful time. Connievan's new spot looks fantastic under the trees. Hope you have a really great weekend.

Hi Luci. I want to let you know how much I love and appreciate what you do on your blog. I look up to you because you have a positive way of showing regular life and what good comes from hard work and devotion. From your warm home to your colorful studio to the hills around your lovely village, you make me feel welcome and a part of your wonderful world. Thank you so much.

I've made exactly one bunting triangle so far (busy with wedding crafts), but I am more than happy to send it. I wish I could go to Yarndale, it sounds like it will be amazing. Too bad there's that matter of an ocean between me and there keeping me home. (Yet another jealous American)
Have a lovely trip! Can't wait to see pictures!

It all sounds wonderful Lucy. Would you update us on you connivan curtains you were making, how did it turn out ??

Wonderful! Have fun at the weekend.
Glad you're enjoying seeing the bunting, I added mine last night (not as ruler straight as yours despite steaming because my tension's looser and they would be more than 7"! but pretty all the same I'm told) and loved looking through and leaving some comments.

Congrats on having your first Open Studio Event planned! I'd come if I lived in the UK myself, but I'll definitely visit if I come through your town:)
And Connievan looks lovely as always, and very cosy in her new home spot! I have been wanting a caravan for some time now and I love to hear about your family's trips with yours.
Lots of bunting triangles being made here as well! Have a lovely weekend Lucy!

Have a lovely week-end. We have been on holiday with grand-children this week. It's been fantastic. Perfect weather to be outside all day equals happy children .....and parents!!
Love the community feel of making triangles for Yarndale. Tried the Mandala flowers too.
I started crocheting about six weeks ago and am completely hooked. This wonderful website drew me in. Thanks Lucy.

Oh, and I've got several hooky triangles awaiting their blocking and another on the hook. I've been enjoying your blog for several months now (just never commented before) and am so happy that I can give something back to you for all the hours you've spent putting together tutorials and sharing your colorful life with us! You are a great teacher and inspiring lady. If I ever visit England, I'll be sure to look for Buffers and the cafe where your studio is!
