Ohhhhhhhhh how I love love love love L♥O♥V♥e this time of year when there is an abundance of green greenery!
I took my Dad and Lady B to walk in our local patch of woodland yesterday afternoon, and as you can see, it was absolutely glorious. Fresh and vibrant, full of dappled sunlight and stunning colour. I felt my heart swell and my soul lift up to the treetops to sing and dance.
Life is good when the sun shines xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Always amazed at the distinct changes the seasons bring there compared with our more subtle ones in Sydney, Aust. All more intense and beautiful there. Love your photos. Enjoy your summer. Can't wait for it to return here.

Wow ! lovely pictures , I too adore green in all its shades. Despite our generally wet and coldish weather we should count our blessings. We thankfully don't seem to get the terrible extremes and my heart goes out to the poor souls in Oklahoma.Imagine working all your life to build a home , only to have it all destroyed. So enjoy what we have and give prayers for those who are suffering. xx

Isn't it a delicious colour, so vibrant and alive - almost as though you can see the leaves growing. I think new hawthorn leaves are possibly the most gorgeous. Thanks for sharing them with us.xx

I'm from Holland and the green here is colouring to the summergreen, but still alot of rain and low temperatures.Your blog is very positive and I love your crochets skills. It inspirated me to make the smalliest granny's for a dollblanket.
And maybe I will start a blanket for our bed.
What's good cotton for such a project, something that is not to heavy. Maybe you have an advice , I guess I want to make something with stripes. Enjoy life.

Looking at your pictures and then out my window I see that our green has lost it's wild spring color and settled into a more staid summer shade. Lovely but not so exciting. Enjoy it!

My favourite season colours are the autumn oranges and browns but I looked out this morning and was amazed at all the different, beautiful, bright greens in the garden. The colours seem particularly vibrant at the moment. Lovely photos!

Yes, I drove up through the Cotswolds over to Milton Keynes at the weekend and, just like you, my heart was lifted by the glorious greens and dappled sunlight, with birds singing their hearts out! After what feels like a two year winter, it was a real tonic.
Thankyou for sharing your lovely pics!
