About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

Very nice.
So beautiful colors and so soft.

Lovely, lovely , lovely and soooooo much colour. Better than my wafty grey one : )

I love that weavy effect you have and the colours are so pretty! Thankyou for sharing such a lovely design!xx

What a fun cowl!!! Looks great!

Such pretty neckwear!

It's gorgeous (as are you!), thank you for sharing the pattern. I made a drapey knitted cowl a while back but could do with something a little more snug. xx

I was wandering yesterday what would be my next crochet proyect... now I know it :o). Thanks for the idee and the tutorial.

How cute! Love those bright colors! :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is making scarfs/neck warmers! its still chilly! beautiful colours

Oh my gosh! I want a package delivered to me just like that! The neck cowl is very pretty too :o) Will you be doing the Bower Bird tutorial soon??? ;o)

Beautiful........I read the comment you left at Elizabeths blog (Mrs Thomasina Tittlemouse), thanks for the link to the Drops Paris yarn.......beautiful colours and what a bargain price.

I love to see every time you add more and more to your personal adornment. Your household items and gifties are wonderful too. I don't know just why I take so much pleasure in watching you build your warm outfitting - from the coat on up. Brightens my day.

Lovely and ideal to brighten up Spring and winter days! (and Autumn too :))
Have a wonderful week, Lucy!

Beautiful I like it.. congratulation

Very cute!

Pretty lady! Love the cowl too!

The Cogaroo

I love the colors you chose, and the granny stripe with single crochets is so cute! I couldn't resist...I've already started one. :) Thank you for the fabulous tutorial!

Beautiful!...and so is the neck warmer! ;)

Really nice. Love the colors and the pattern. Just wish I knew how to crochet.

Oh yeah! I like it so much...better than the loose fitting cowls, at least for me it is. Thx so much, I will make one straight away as I go for walks by the sea frequently and that breeze off the water is chilly still. Hugs, M

Thank you so much, Lucy! This is going to be on my hooks this afternoon. It is exactly what I was looking for as a next project.

What a useful little invention!
May I ask about the young lady who is modelling the 'Buff neck scarf thingy' in the photo?

I love it Lucy and the colours are stunning. Oooh now do I have time between blankets to crochet myself one? ... I wonder? X

Pom Pom

It's so YOU! You are as cute as a spring robin, Lucy.
I like the stretchy things kids are wearing in the UK, too!
I learned how to make cowls from some hippie-ish young people back in October. Now when I wear them people say, "When are you going to make me one?"
Your yarn sounds so delish.

Sweet like candy :)
