:: Yesterday we were blessed with the most glorious blue sky, what a treat! After so many weeks of heavy grey-white icy skies, the colour and the light felt amazing ::
:: Yesterday we ate buttered hot cross buns for breakfast, which the Little People thoroughly approved of ::
:: Yesterday the sunlight streamed in through the window causing me to feel ridiculously happy ::
:: Yesterday the snow began to melt, and I began to believe that maybe just maybe Winter might finally be over ::
:: Yesterday I made mini chocolate crispy nests with Little B, who had a mega amount of fun licking out the chocolaty bowl afterwards. It was very messy indeed ::
:: Yesterday, Little Lady filled these plastic eggs with little chocolate chicks and organised a surprise Easter egg hunt for her two brothers. Because her Mummy was too busy stitching feathers onto her easter wreath. Sweet, sweet girl, bad, bad Mummy ::
:: Yesterday (as you know) I hung up my Easter Wreath, yyaaayyyyy!!!! It was a great moment ::
:: Yesterday, at around 3.30pm, I revelled in the sound of Complete Silence. Husband at work, two Little People out with friends, one tired Little Person crashed out on the sofa. It was kind of blissful ::
:: Yesterday I spent many moments gazing at my Easter mantel. I took down the teeny tiny hearts and replaced them with last year's Easter blossom. Perfect ::
:: Yesterday I worked very hard at not eating these chocolate eggs, despite the fact that they called to me many times ::
:: Yesterday I realised with a jolt that it's almost seaside time! I got so wrapped up with doing Easter things at home that I had sort of forgotten that we are going away today ::
We leave in a few hours, off down to Dorset to spend time with my family. Need to pack warm clothes and plenty of chocolate and yarn. I can't wait for a week at the coast.
Happy Easter my lovelies, I'll be back here next week ♥

I can't decide what I love most, the wreaths or the explosion of color on your mantel! You are inspiring me to try a wreath but I must say the bird and flowers intimidte me! Once you get all four seasons done in their wreathy versions, why not display all of them en masse on the couch wall? Oh, the joyous riot of color that would be!

Lucy, I have some questions, if you get a moment out of your busy schedule could you help me.
I'm just not getting back into my crocheting. I love your work. I was wondering if you could share the yarn you are working with for your blankets, pillows and crafts. Are the all natural wool, cotton, etc. Or are you using blends. What do you recommend? Thanks so much. XOXO

I have just been reading about your previous visits to Dorset on your blog, we are looking at Dorset for our holiday destination this summer, spurred on by the wishes of a 10yr old to visit Monkey World :)

Have a lovely time Lucy, we're going to visit Dorset for the very first time in July. It's a special holiday to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and I can't wait!
Good luck with the new studio, I'm sooo jealous and how wonderful that you have someone to share it with.
