About Me

  • Hello! Thank you so much for visiting me in the Attic, it's lovely to see you. My name is Lucy and I'm a happily married Mum with three children. We live in a cosy terraced house on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in England which we are slowly renovating and making home. I have a passion for crochet and colour and love to share my creative journey. I hope you enjoy your peek into my colourful little world x

I have a whole room ready to be made into my very own "Craft Room"... Alot of de-cluttering... Just need to get started.

Cathie Jeffreys

Just did the same with my craft spot in the basement. Also lined up the next few projects I want to start and complete. Seems to be an awful lot of them.

Thistle

Looks great, Lucy! I love the feeling of a tidy home. I should probably aim for that feeling more often. :)

Clare

I really need to finish tidying my crafting summerhouse.

Jess

Muchly agreed! Sometimes, it's alright to have piles about the house...but eventually, I've noticed especially around my house, they get to be too much, and order needs to be brought back! It can be nice, piling things, you know what's there (sort of) and at one point, it all made sense. But eventually, it starts to fail. At least here it does!
Plus, yours still keeps it's homey colourful feel after it's been cleaned - there's nothing better than bright and cheerful organization!

maypole

feels great after a declutter, looks good too

Carol

It does indeed. Two bags to the charity shop last week and another couple going tomorrow (if only I could escape without buying something else whilst I am in there!)
Carol xx

Pam

Your space looks delicious...but I don't think I can de-clutter anytime soon...I'm too busy making BIRDS!!! lol!

Vicky

I could do with some of that!

Isabel

De cluttering is indeed a therapy ! It feels so good to be free of things that make a demand on us . However then I inevitably go out and buy some new things that may end up demanding of me later Oi Vey!!

Jess

I love tidying up! Am I odd? Maybe.xx

Ailsa

I've been doing a bit of this in recent weeks.

CRISTINA

come hai ragione !!!!!!!
fare ordine è un toccasana per la mente e per la casa !!!!!!!

I was just thinking about doing that with my bedroom today. It's less of a calming place and more of a tornado hit it place. Can't relax...must de-clutter!

Jenny

I am decluttering for Lent. Also because Flylady told me to!

Keep up the good work!

Chy

Doesn't it feel good?? I just de-cluttered our kitchen yesterday and can't believe how big it feels! Enjoy your work.

Jacquie

Ha , snap :0)
Been de-cluttering and moving furniture about today .Still plenty left to do but it does feel good.
Enjoy half term if you have it this week Lucy.

Tell me about it - I am probably going to downsize my house this year and have just started clearing cupboards - wonderful when you manage to empty one!!
