A visual celebration of Everyday Life in the Attic during 2012. Enjoy....................
Ahhhhhhhh. Wasn't that good? Sixty Seven images that capture a year of ordinary days at home. It is my Everyday, my sweet, ordinary, uncomplicated life.
This is the last of my Year End Reviews, and by far my favourite. In fact I think this collection of photos is one of my bestest ever.
I love the subtle shifts through the months from January to December. I love that each image is like a little window through to a whole landscape of memories. I just love to be reminded how good home life can be, how wonderful the little details are.
I choose to live my days creatively and in full colour, with a huge dash of positive thinking. I celebrate the small pleasures and the little luxuries. I look for the happy stuff, seize it with both hands and enjoy it to the full. I tell myself daily how lucky I am to be living this life, and I am so grateful for all that I have.
With much love from me to you, I wish you a whole lot of Happy Stuff xxx
Ps..I've just been looking back through previous "Home Reviews" (this is my fourth), and I thought you might like to see them too.....
So lovely. I love to read your blog. so many colours and so much love. I just adore it.
You know...if I just need to give an "a" and the first page is yours.
And...I'm really thinking of making a blanket. I'm still trying to ....you know. I just made small and easy, super easy projects. And I still have problem with keeping the rows equal. but.....I'm learning.
Thank you.

LOVELY! All that color...just beautiful. I'm intrigued...you had a bowl of colored crochet thread; but I've yet to see anything made with it...or did I miss it? What's coming up with the crochet thread?
Lucy, your blog always inspires and delights...thank you for letting us peek at your world.

lovely photos Lucy - particularly liked the stripes on the line. I recently had something similar on my rack...it looked like I was raising a family of Rumplestiltskins!!
I made a 'neat ripple blanket' over the Christmas hols (photo and link to you on my current post) It's known as the 'nipple blanket' as I kept combining the 'neat' and 'ripple' when looking for the pattern!
Thanks for the inspiration as always. It's crochet cold turkey for me now but it won't last..fee x

You are so very inspiring Lucy. I have loved these reviews and agree this last one is the best. I love how you capture everyday life so beautifully. I really want to try to do the same this year. Your positivity is amazing. Life is hard work at the moment, getting used to having two children and little H being a rather more tricky baby than Little F was but I really need to try to enjoy every moment more and focus on the positives of which there are so many. This is exactly what a lot of people miss in their life and what I recognize and love in your blog. Happy simple moments...life doesn't have to be complicated to be fulfilling.
Lots of love to you and keeping sharing the positive smile you send to the world!

Your pictures make me smile, seeing the sweet jumble of family life!
I am wondering what crochet hooks you use. I recently bought a 8mm hook (for Big Wool) but the brand available in local shops was a bit cheap and too pointy (it keeps catching on the yarn) and also a bit short. Some of my old hooks are Aero but I cannot find this make now.
